What should I pay attention to when shooting a total solar eclipse with a SLR?

Pay attention to the following points when shooting a total solar eclipse with a SLR:

1. In the partial eclipse stage before the total solar eclipse, the most important task at this stage is focusing, because it lasts for a long time and is no different from ordinary partial eclipse. Be sure to repeatedly and patiently adjust the focal length to the best, so as not to leave regrets during the total solar eclipse.

2. When eating, the main shooting target is Bailey Pearl. Bailey bead is a visual phenomenon that the edge of the moon wheel is uneven and the dazzling sunlight passes through the depression. Shooting Bailey beads means the beginning of the total eclipse phase, so take off the filter in advance.

3. There are three main shooting targets in the total solar eclipse stage, one is the prominence, the other is the inner corona and the third is the outer corona. Among them, the inner corona is as bright as the full moon, the outer corona is nearly 100 times darker, and the prominence is brighter than the inner corona.

4. The shooting target of light and the last contact process is similar to the first half of the eclipse and partial eclipse.

Never look directly at the sun with naked eyes or any optical equipment (such as binoculars)! You can't shoot directly with the camera (you must add a special filter) to avoid damaging and burning the camera.
