How are American films rated? What is the concept of R 13?

The American film rating system is based on the theme, language, violence, nudity and scene of the film, which represents the opinions that most parents may give. Its purpose is to provide parents with relevant information about movies in advance, and help parents judge which movies are suitable for children of a certain age.

PG 13: Special guidance level, recommended for children after 13.

Note: There are R grades and PG 13 grades in the grading system, but there is no R 13.

Extended data

Before 1968, the Motion Picture Association of America did not establish a classification system. Later, under the pressure of directors and producers calling for greater freedom in artistic creation, the film grading system was introduced on 1968+0 1.

Related grading:

1.g class: popular class, suitable for all ages. This level of film content can be accepted by parents, and the film is not naked and there are few violent scenes. Dialogue is also a frequent contact in daily life.

2.PG level: general guidance level, some contents may not be suitable for children to watch, and some shots may cause discomfort. I suggest watching it with my parents. The scene of terrorist violence will not exceed the moderate range.
