Shandong Art Museum, located atNo. Jingshi Road 1 1777 in Lixia District, Jinan City, was built atNo. Qingnian East Road 1977 in Shizhong District of Jinan City and opened to the public on June 20 13 12.

According to official website of Shandong Art Museum in July, 2020, there are many kinds of collections in Shandong Art Collection, such as Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, sculpture, comprehensive material works, watercolor gouache painting, sketch, folk art works, calligraphy seal cutting and so on. On July 5, 20 18, Shandong Art Museum became the social practice base for primary and middle school students in the central area of Jinan.

The new Shandong Provincial Art Museum 12 exhibition hall is located on the first to fourth floors, of which the fourth floor is a fixed exhibition hall. The total design area of the exhibition hall is 12393.7 square meters, and the length of the exhibition line along the wall is 3098 meters.

The clear height of the main exhibition hall on the first floor is 8 meters, with movable ceiling and hanging movable exhibition boards; The clear height of the second and third floor exhibition halls is 4m, the actual use area of the first to third floor exhibition halls is 8502m2, and the actual available exhibition line is 2 125m. According to the calculation of each work 1.5m and the space between works 1.5m, 708 works can be exhibited at the same time.
