Does Apple have a video recorder running in the background?

Apple has a software called ScreenFlow. It can run in the background.

ScreenFlow can record screens on all Macs loaded with OS X operating system, and the operation is very simple.

Press the default hotkey "Command+Shift+2" to start recording, with a countdown of 5 seconds. If you want to finish recording, just press the same hotkey.

2. Then the video will automatically appear in the editing window. Forget post-editing. If you want to save the video, you have three options: 1. Find "Save" under the file menu in the menu bar and save it directly as a file with suffix. Screen stream format for later editing. 2. Share to Youtube, Vimeo and other video stations or Dropbox and other network disk spaces through "Publish to" in the file menu. 3. According to the requirements of different platforms, export it as a video file suitable for networks, lossless formats, iOS devices or Apple TV platforms through "Export" in the file menu.
