Which should I choose, Nikon P500 or entry-level SLR? I don't care about the photo effect. What I care about is the quality of short films (videos). Please give me your advice.

First of all, most SLR cameras can only stretch the focal length by twisting the lens; And telephoto machines like P500 or DV all have ergonomic dials, but P500 has 36 times optical zoom, and DV to 36 times is definitely digital zoom.

Secondly, the video frame rate of most low-end SLR or DV cameras is at most 25fps, while that of P500 cameras is 29.97fps.

Finally, the resolution of most low-end SLR or DV videos is at most 720P, while the video shot by P500 is authentic full HD 1080P instead of 1080i, because the extremely fine video with the resolution of 1920X 1080 can be easily output with P500 photosensitive elements.

PS: I studied photography in the wedding studio before. Most models of Canon are basically exposed. 90% of the indoor portraits in the studio like to use Canon's high-end SLR. Besides, I have a friend who is a well-known professional outdoor photographer. He told me that as long as professional photographers shoot pure scenery, at least 70% people prefer Nikon. There are thousands of cameras in his home alone (mainly high-end cameras such as SLR or double reflex, and various models of well-known brands such as Nikon, Canon, Lulai, Hasselblad, Pentax, Leica and Sony).

After filming in person, we carefully compared the picture color, picture details and dynamic fluency of the videos shot by each camera or DV in his family on the same display screen, and found that none of the videos shot by low-end SLR were significantly better than Nikon P500 in picture effect, and P500 was even more important to kill the audience.
