Yu Jilian's introduction

Yu Jilian was born in Guangdong in 1940. He came to Hong Kong at the age of 15, and 17. From trainee to cameraman, to second-class cameraman assistant, to first-class cameraman assistant, to photographer and finally to director, he has worked hard in the Hong Kong film circle for more than 30 years. 1987 established Wei Yi Film Company, independent filmmakers. He has worked as a photographer in popular movies such as Happy Face and TV series Wild Silkworm Change, and directed films such as Doomsday, Sex and Life, Shaolin Dharma, and Modern Eating and Being Lazy, and has often cooperated with famous artists such as Hu Huizhong, Yam Tat-wah and Louis Koo.
