Is the national small hundred flowers cup juvenile painting and calligraphy a national award?

This competition is not a national prize.

Under the guidance of the spirit of reform and opening up at the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, 1992 National Hua Xiaobai Cup Juvenile Painting and Calligraphy Competition came into being in order to promote the quality education of children.

The basic purpose of the contest is to promote national culture and art, promote the teaching activities of children's painting, calligraphy and photography throughout the country, widely exchange advanced teaching experience and teaching theory, and promote the all-round development of children.
