10, Slender West Lake-Wu Ting Bridge

brief introduction

It is modeled after Wulong Pavilion and Seventeen-hole Bridge in Beihai, Beijing, just like the belt of Slender West Lake. There are five pavilions on the bridge, hence the name Wu Ting Bridge, which is a symbol of Yangzhou landscape.

Wu Ting Bridge was designed and built in Qing Dynasty to welcome Qianlong's southern tour. The pavilion has yellow tile bamboo columns, white railings and painted caissons, which has the architectural characteristics of the south. Under the bridge is the thick pier of the north building.
