Prevent colds and learn turmeric cooking! Strengthen the family's resistance

At the turn of spring and summer, the body is most likely to catch a cold because of the large temperature difference, not to mention the children at home are more likely to catch a cold because of the hot and cold temperature, and they accidentally catch a cold. Many parents certainly hope to prevent colds through simple diet or daily health care. In cooperation with Minicook, a parent-child food education class, Blue Ribbon chef Mommy Quexi (Cai) demonstrated a delicious dish that children can love and eat at the same time: Curcuma paella and Curcuma honey jelly as desserts.

Parents with children at home want to give their children good nutrition, but they lack sufficient time to prepare dishes. As a mother of two children, Teacher Quexi therefore designed this simple version of paella cooking for busy parents, which can be easily done with an electric cooker:

Turmeric paella for 4 people.

White rice 225g( 1.5m cup), water 150g( 1m cup), turmeric powder14 teaspoon, onion 75g, tomato 75g, clam 200g (about14 teaspoon).

Practice steps

Put the rice into the inner pot first.

Pour in onion and stir.

Pour one meter cup (150g) of water into the inner pot.

Put turmeric 1/4 flat spoon not exceeding 200mg.

Put in tomatoes.

Add the top card, clams and shrimp (if you want to look beautiful, you can put the shrimp head in the middle like a petal).

Add a meter of glass of water to the outer pot, and after the switch is turned on, it will be stuffy for 10 ~ 15 minutes.

Miss Quexi's secret:

Braised rice tastes moist and is suitable for children to chew. Clams, shrimps and onions will come out by themselves, so it is suggested that rice can be washed without soaking! In addition, seafood itself is delicious enough, and it is too salty if put too much. It is best to adjust according to the suggested proportion.

When choosing seafood, it is recommended to give priority to freezing, which will have enough flavor as soon as the fishing boat catches it. If refrigerated, it may have thawed and the freshness is poor.

Nutritionist Xiao:

If you are allergic to seafood, you can try white meat instead. For example, chicken is a good source of protein!

Curcumin is the main effective component of turmeric powder, which has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, liver-protecting and blood-activating effects, and can reduce inflammatory factors, thus achieving antibacterial and antiviral effects. Strengthen the immune system and reduce the occurrence of colds.

Turmeric honey jelly

500g of water, 1/4 teaspoons of turmeric powder, 50g of honey and 3g of watercress strips.

Practice steps:

Boil 500 ml of water.

Pour in watercress strips, stir well and turn off the heat.

Add turmeric powder

After cooling, pour in honey and stir.

Refrigerate in the refrigerator.

Miss Quexi's secret:

A little more Chinese cabbage strips will taste like Chinese cabbage swallows, and a little less can be used to make cheese, which has a wide range of uses.

If you want the pot to cool quickly, you can put it on a wet rag!

Nutritionist Xiao:

Remind parents that it is not recommended to give honey to children under one year old, especially babies six months ago. Due to the lack of intestinal acidity and probiotics, foreign "botulinum spores" are easy to breed in the intestine and produce toxins. As mentioned above, if the toxin affects the intestinal muscles, the intestine will not be able to peristalsis, which will affect digestion and absorption. At this time, most babies will have symptoms of "constipation", followed by loss of appetite and drooping eyelids.
