It is much worse to shoot jewelry with a pullover. Better get a macro head. If you only shoot small objects, a 50 mm macro head is enough. It costs about 2000 yuan. If money is limited, buy a second-hand manual macro lens. Thanks to Canon's interface advantages, many brands of manual lenses can be transferred to Canon's body.

The cheapest Russian "small macro" lens is around 300 yuan, and the effect is much better than your current lens.
