What is Mount Emei like in winter?
Mount Emei, located near the mysterious 30 north latitude, is located in the southwest of Sichuan Province, and is the general name of Da 'ashan, Er 'ashan and San 'ashan. Due to the height and geographical location of Mount Emei, there are four seasons in one mountain, and the days from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain are different. Since ancient times, it has been called "Pu Xian, the eldest son of Buddha, Emei, the leader of the mountain". Mount Emei has condensed the essence of nature for thousands of years. The scenic area is 623 square kilometers, the core area is 154 square kilometers, and the tour route is 120 miles. There are 28 temples in the whole mountain.
There are too many legends about Mount Emei. In fairy tales, the green snake and the white snake in the legend of White Snake practice here. In the martial arts world, the Emei school in Jin Yong's novels originated from this; In Buddhist culture, it is also the Dojo of Samantabhadra, one of the four famous mountains of Buddhism. We came to this ancient temple in the Spring Festival of 20 12 and enjoyed the snow scene of Mount Emei.
According to legend, in the 1 century, a herbalist named Pugong built Puguangtang in Jinding. In the 3rd century A.D., Pu Xian, one of the four great Buddhists (here called Pu Xian Dojo and Brahman named Pu Xian), became the main Buddha enshrined in Mount Emei. According to historical records, in the third year of Long 'an in the Jin Dynasty (A.D. 399), Hui took a monk from Lushan to Shuzhong, where a Fujian base dedicated to bodhisattvas was first built. In this way, Mount Emei became the Dojo of Pu Xian. After several dynasties, Mount Emei has been burning incense continuously, and time has passed in a hurry for thousands of years. Today, Mount Emei is not only a holy place for Buddhism, but also an excellent place for tourism.
Snow is not unique to Mount Emei. However, the beauty of the snow scene in Emei Mountain is unique. The unique geographical location, altitude and climatic conditions make the snow scene of Mount Emei vertically distributed like her vegetation, which is called "several days of ice and snow". The snow in the north is too rough, covering the whole land at once, and the world is white, lacking some elegance and agility. The snow in the south is too gentle, like a girl hiding in a boudoir, and she can't be found. Only the snow in Emei Mountain is bold, but gentler. The perfect combination of the two makes you daydream and intoxicated!
Generally speaking, it takes two days to travel in Emei Mountain. If there is enough time, it is recommended to travel for three days in winter, which is easier and more time.
The 3-day leisure travel route plan is as follows:

After going to Emei Mountain, of course, you should try the vegetarian meal in Emei Mountain. The vegetarian dishes in Guobao Temple, Khufu Temple and Wannian Temple are very famous. Vegetarian food prices vary from temple to temple, so it's cheaper. It's best not to waste leftovers when eating in temples.

At present, the most famous teas in Emei Mountain are: Zhuyeqing, Emei Xueya, Xianzhi Bamboo Tip and Emei Organic Tea, which are sold in supermarkets and franchise stores at the foot of the mountain.
Snow konjac is a characteristic of Mount Emei, which is used by Sichuanese to cook. Mushroom taro is a perennial herb with snake-shaped petiole, palmately compound leaves, pinnately divided leaflets, spherical underground stems and taro tubers on the ground. It can be eaten after grinding. It turns black after cooking, commonly known as black tofu.
Besides, crutches and sandals are much cheaper to buy at the foot of the mountain than at the foot of the mountain. If you have less luggage, it is recommended to buy equipment at the foot of the mountain and go up the mountain the next day.
