Traffic conditions: From Chengdu, take Le Cheng Expressway directly to Leshan City, then drive along the hills for about 50 kilometers to Ebian County, then follow Chengxiang Highway to Heizhugou Town, and go up the mountain to enter Heizhugou Scenic Area. The whole journey is about 300 kilometers, and the road ahead is very easy. The mountain road after entering Heizhugou Town is currently a gravel road, which is difficult to drive.

Traffic tip: You can take a bus to Ebian County at Xinnanmen Station in Chengdu, and then transfer to Heizhugou Town. There is no shuttle bus up the mountain, so you can only charter or take a ride.

Heizhugou is famous for its mysterious disappearance.

Legend has it that people and animals often disappear and die when they enter Heizhugou. Many media have disclosed how people disappeared after entering Heizhugou, and many reasons are still a mystery. According to incomplete statistics, since 195 1, the exploration team of southern Sichuan Forestry Bureau, the Sichuan Forestry Department, the army surveying and mapping team and Yi compatriots have been in distress for many times, among which 3 people died, 3 people were injured and 2 people were missing. According to the introduction of the local Yi elders, in 1950, more than 30 people from the remnants of Kuomintang Hu Zongnan crossed Heizhugou with sophisticated weapons, and no one survived after crossing the ditch. So there is the saying of "Death Valley of Terror".

Heizhugou is characterized by unique valley topography, lush vegetation, abundant rainfall and high humidity. It is often shrouded in fog and locked by mountain fog, which makes the ditch gloomy and mysterious. The mountain fog here is varied, with purple fog rolling in the morning and foggy all over the sky at night, which is near and far, static and moving, flickering and changing endlessly. According to the local Yi people, it is forbidden to enter the ditch loudly. According to the investigators' analysis, the cause of death and disappearance of people and animals in the ditch is most likely caused by fog. If people enter the strange fog in this deep mountain canyon and the terrain is unfamiliar, it is difficult to escape the trap of this Death Valley. Locals and investigators have summed up such a jingle: "Shimenguan, Shimenguan, fog, underground ditch and treasure altar;" The ape was so worried about climbing that the hero was sad. "Yi compatriots proudly told us that Heizhugou is Jinshan Yinshan, and even the fog is reluctant to leave. The fog here is "rich" and weird like soft floating cloth. Once you go deep into it, you will be surrounded and swallowed up. Why is the fog here so unpredictable? Why did it cause casualties? Whether the fog contains other components remains to be studied.
