Xiaomi launches TV stick, which is not only small in size but can also output 4K content

Some time ago, a foreign e-commerce platform launched a Xiaomi TV Stick (TV Stick), which is very compact. Recently, this product was confirmed by Xiaomi Germany and an official picture was released. (A TV stick is actually equivalent to an online video collector).

Judging from the poster, the Xiaomi TV Stick is designed to look like a USB flash drive, measuring only 9.50 x 3.50 x 2.00cm. It is designed to be plug-and-play. In addition, in terms of configuration, the Xiaomi TV Stick provides standard HDMI 2.0 and USB Type-C interfaces. The former is used for audio and video transmission, and the latter is used for power supply. As for the processor, it is equipped with Amlogic S905 quad-core processor, Mali-G31 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB storage space. In addition, it will also support 4K HDR and support Dolby and DTS HD dual decoding.

Since this product is mainly aimed at overseas markets, three exclusive buttons for Google Assistant, Netflix and Amazon Video are added to the matching remote control to facilitate overseas users to directly navigate to designated video content platforms.

In terms of price, the overseas price of this Xiaomi TV stick is US$79.99 (approximately RMB 572), but it is still unclear when it will be launched and whether it will land in the mainland market.
