What are the highlights in photography?
In photography, highlight refers to the brightest point in the picture, which shows the part of the object that directly reflects the light source, and is more common in objects with smooth texture. The dark part will reflect light because of the reflection of the surrounding objects. As a part of the dark part, reflection is generally darker than the deepest middle color in the bright part.
The word photography comes from the Greek word Φ φφ_ _ phos (light) and ραφχgraphics (painting and sketch) or ραφ_ graphφ, which together mean "painting with light". Photography refers to the process of recording images with some special equipment. Generally, we take photos with mechanical cameras or digital cameras.
