Feicheng is located in the middle of Shandong, at the west foot of Mount Tai. It is a treasure house in the middle of Shandong Province, rich in resources, and a well-known hometown of fat peaches at home and abroad. Geographical coordinates are 35 53' ~ 3619' north latitude and116 28' ~116 59' east longitude. It borders Daiyue District of Tai 'an City in the east, Dongping County and Pingyin County of Jinan City in the west, Ningyang County and Wenshang County of Jining City across the river in the south, and surrounded by mountains in Changqing District of Jinan City in the north. The whole territory of Feicheng is 48 kilometers long from north to south and 37.5 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 1 277.3 square kilometers.

The development of history

Feicheng has a long history. According to the archaeological discovery of north beach site in the old city, as far back as 6,000 years ago, during the Dawenkou cultural period, some human ancestors thrived in this hot land of Feicheng.

During the Xia and Shang Dynasties, China established tribal countries such as Zhu and Sui.

During the Western Zhou Dynasty, a "fat country" was established, and its territory belonged to Yanzhou.

During the Spring and Autumn Period, the territory belonged to Qi State and Lu State. During the Warring States period, it was under the jurisdiction of Qi. The Qin Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Qixian County.

In the early years of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC), Feicheng County was established, belonging to Taishan County, the secretariat of Yanzhou. For more than 2200 years, county boundaries have evolved into counties, counties and towns.

Feicheng County was abandoned in the last years of Zhang in the Eastern Han Dynasty (87-88 AD), belonging to Luxian County, Sheqiu County and Dongping County in northern Hebei Province.

In the Northern Wei Dynasty, in 527 (the third year of Xiaochang), Feicheng County was restored and East Hebei North County was established in Feicheng County.

During the Northern Qi Dynasty (550 ~ 577), Jibei County was withdrawn eastward and merged into Jibei County of Chiping County, which belonged to Feicheng County.

In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, in 577 (the sixth year of Jiande), Feicheng County was established as Feicheng County.

In the early years of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty, Feicheng County was abandoned, and Feicheng County was retained, with jurisdiction over Jeju and Yanzhou. At the end of Sui Dynasty, Feicheng County was under the jurisdiction of Northern Hebei County.

In 622 of the Tang Dynasty (Wude five years), Feicheng County was restored, belonging to East Taizhou and Yanzhou of Henan Province. In 627 (the first year of Zhenguan), Feicheng County was abolished and merged into Bocheng County. In 666 (the first year of Ganfeng), Bocheng County was changed to Ganfeng County. In 668 (the first year of the general chapter), it was changed to Ganfeng County, and it was relocated to Bocheng County. In 705 (the first year of Shenlong), it was renamed Ganfeng County again.

During the Five Dynasties (907 ~ 960), it still belonged to Ganfeng County and Yanzhou.

Song dynasty (960 ~ 1279) belonged to Ganfeng county at first, then to Fengfu county and Pingyin county, and to Yunzhou on Jingdong West Road. 1115 ~1234. The early Qing Dynasty ruled by the Ming Dynasty. 1734 (the 12th year of Yongzheng) was changed to Tai 'an House, which was under the jurisdiction of Wu Taidao, Chief Secretary of Shandong Province. 1735 (13th year of Yongzheng), Tai 'an Prefecture was upgraded to Tai 'an Prefecture, and Feicheng County still belonged to it.

The landform within the landform is inclined from northeast to southwest. The highest point is 600 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is 57.7 meters above sea level. The central uplift is hilly and mountainous, the northern part is Kang Hui Plain characterized by basins, and the southern part is Wenyang Plain characterized by vertical and horizontal rivers. The mountains and gullies in Feicheng City are connected, naturally forming various landforms such as mountains, hills and plains. Among them, the plain area is 59394.5 hectares, accounting for 46.5% of the total area of Feicheng, the mountainous area is 429 17.3 hectares, accounting for 33.6% of the total area of Feicheng, and the hilly area is 254 18.3 hectares, accounting for 19.9% of the total area of Feicheng.

The mountains in the mountain range belong to the west foot of Mount Tai, which inclines from northeast to southwest. There are 96 big hills and scenic Niu Shan and Taoshan in the north. Zhufei Mountain, Mashan Mountain and Bushan Mountain are the main areas in the middle, and Jiazi Mountain is 600 meters above sea level, which is the highest peak in Feicheng City.

There are 2 soil types, 5 subtypes, 12 soil genera and 83 soil species in Feicheng city. Among them, brown soil is 96,393 hectares, accounting for 98. 1% of the available land area.

There are 43 mountain torrents in the river, with a total length of 196.3 km and a total drainage area of 9 1 1.6 km.
