Which one is more suitable for traveling, Xinjiang or Tibet?
As for the answer to this question, I think it is better to use my own personal experience to answer it! Tibet is also very interesting, there is no doubt about it, but if I have to rank it, I think Xinjiang, which I visited recently, was pretty good and I highly recommend it to everyone.
Tibet is a magical place, a mythical paradise, the top of the world, a holy land, and the origin of my country's Yangtze River and Yellow River. In this ancient world, its unique environment has given birth to many unreplicable natural landscapes and nourished unique history and culture. Everything about it is so mysterious and attractive. We always have too much. There are so many reasons to challenge and explore this place by driving, biking, hiking, etc.
Today is Sunday. Anyway, I am free, so I will write more_slangy words: Among the several routes into Tibet, for some first-timers, I recommend Sichuan-Tibet (National Highway 318) Wire. This is the route with the most beautiful scenery and the greatest risks, and it is also the route chosen by the most people.
I won’t talk about the front section of the Sichuan-Tibet Line. After crossing the Erlang Mountain, you will enter the Kangding area. From Ya’an to Kangding is the western Sichuan Plateau. Muds and rocksflows are common during the rainy season, and some roads may be flooded. , drive carefully. Zheduo Mountain is the dividing line of nature. The landforms on the east and west sides are very different. There are mountains and valleys in the east and raised plateaus in the west.
Xinduqiao is full of grasslands and beautiful scenery. This is a paradise for photographers.
The terrain of Litang is relatively flat, but the altitude is higher. Along the way, you have to climb Jianziwan Mountain and Kazila Mountain. This is where many tourists start to climb.
Batang: Starting to enter the valley on the east bank of the Jinsha River, the road is winding and undulating, which is a trivial matter. When walking at night, you must pay attention to the flooded road.
Jinsha River Bridge: This is the area where Sichuan and Tibet face each other across the river. It is recommended to cross the bridge on foot (except for drivers). In the middle of the bridge is a sign crossing Sichuan and Tibet. Take a photo on the sign. It is also very meaningful, but remember that photography is not allowed in the military station. After passing the military station, there is a section of road that is very prone to landslides, so be careful when passing through. What follows is one winding road after another, a time that tests one's patience.
Mang Kang: This is the intersection of Sichuan, Tibet and Yunnan highways. The roads are narrow and in poor condition.
Bangda: Should we continue to take Route 318, or should we go to Route 317 Dingqing and Baqing? There is also a road rarely used by people, which is the choice point of Provincial Highway 308. Here I Let’s talk specifically about Provincial Highway 308. This road was extremely poor (before 2014). It passes through Bianba, then enters Nagqu, and merges with the Qinghai-Tibet Line. The road ahead is extremely thrilling, but as long as you dare to take this road, the scenery here will be amazing. I will never treat you badly, but it is better not to choose this path.
Basu: This is a dangerous area in the Hengduan Mountains. The Tianlu Road turns 72 and the Shujiang Grand Canyon is here. Cross the Shujiang Bridge and walk in the cliff canyon. It is prone to landslides and mountains. Falling stones.
Go through Bomi via Lulang to Nyingchi. Linzhi is not high in altitude and has fresh air. This is the best place to rest before entering Lhasa.
Gongbu Jangda: When you enter Mila Mountain, you will find that the two sides of the mountain are two natural dividing points and the dividing line of the region. On one side is Lhasa, where the cold is dry, and on the other side is Linzhi, which is warm and humid.
Many vehicles have been traveling in a dusty way, and their bodies are covered with thick dust. Some people like to write the words "No car wash until Lhasa" on the rear glass with their hands in the dust. It doesn't matter (I It’s the same), to increase the fun on the way, but it’s best to wash the license plate before entering Lhasa, otherwise the car will be inspected by the traffic police and I don’t know whether you will be fined.
We all refer to the way of traveling in Tibet and Xinjiang as crossing. A crossing lasts from 7 to 20 days, and we travel on a jeep every day.
Tibet is a place with relatively continuous scenery that is more beautiful and diverse than Xinjiang, which means that on average you can see at least one beautiful natural landscape or cultural landscape every day. Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia are quite similar. They lack continuous landscapes and the distances spanned are too far. It often takes two or three days of boring driving. Moreover, the landscape is single and highly similar. Relatively boring.
The first time I traveled to Tibet was on the New Tibet Line, from Lhasa to Kashgar. During the Tibet section, I saw beautiful scenery every day, each with its own beauty and legend. When you reach the Xinjiang section, it is a continuous stretch of Gobi desert. When driving on a straight road for a long time, you feel as if it is not moving, which is similar to the feeling on the ocean.
Finally, safety in Xinjiang is currently lacking, and it is still dangerous to stop during such continuous long-distance driving.
Then it’s not that dangerous for me to distort the topic about Xinjiang. Xinjiang is very beautiful, both in terms of people and scenery.
During the summer vacation, I boldly went to Xinjiang, because at that time, there were all kinds of propaganda in the news about how chaotic Xinjiang was, and I felt really weak when I decided to go
And my friends kept telling me how it was in Xinjiang and why I shouldn’t go there. I was scared to death before I even went there.
Then I went in the end. Facts have proved that I really have to come and see it for myself. What the hell are they talking about outside and what are many people upstairs saying about safety? It’s the same wherever you go.
Xinjiang is really not as chaotic as you see on TV. From what I experienced along the way I feel that the people in Xinjiang are very nice
The people who drove by us and cheered us up were all big brothers and sisters from Xinjiang (all of them were easily identifiable as Xinjiang people), and I felt very moved when I heard that. There will also be motorcycles on the road. The Xinjiang brother stops to say hello and chat, although I don’t know what he is talking about=
=Then we laugh up to the sky and go into the house of a herdsman aunt to ask for water and give food. It is very touching.
There will also be children from Xinjiang saying hello to you, uncles and aunts giving you watermelons, and a grandfather from Xinjiang asking me to stop and say hello, although I still don’t understand what he is talking about
still. An old man from Xinjiang asked me to stop and say hello, although I still didn’t understand what he was talking about. When I bought honey, the Xinjiang brother also gave me a discount
When I stopped to repair a flat tire, there were also people riding motorcycles. My brother from Xinjiang stopped and asked me what was going on and if I wanted to help. I was really laughing that day. Then my tire patch blew out and I had to take a ride. The first car I reached for stopped and my kind-hearted uncle and aunt sent me to a nearby city to have it patched up. Tire, so moved TT
What I felt on the road was the full kindness of Xinjiang people. So from personal experience, Xinjiang is really not dangerous, okay? TT
And Xinjiang The watermelon is really super cheap!!! It’s the first time in my life that I can eat watermelon every day and feel so satisfied. It’s only three or four cents per pound. I’m so happy TT
Since some people also want to ride Okay, that climb is too much. I forced myself to upload a few more pictures. Xinjiang is so beautiful. I’m so happy to be able to ride in such an environment. TT,
< p>And the sky in Xinjiang is so blue. When I was camping in the fields, the night sky had the most stars I have ever seen in my life. There was even the Milky Way. For someone like me, who comes from a city where I often can’t see a few stars. , it’s so shocking and beautifulMoreover, the temperature in northern Xinjiang is so comfortable. It’s cool in summer and very dry. Summer is just like the autumn in Fujian. It’s so comfortable that I don’t feel tired for several days. Bathing is also very comfortable, and sleeping is very sweet every day
The above mentioned are all about northern Xinjiang. What is the situation in southern Xinjiang? Can I ask the number one respondent? Finally, this is just the scenery of a very small area in Xinjiang. Xinjiang is so big, and there are many beautiful places and beauties, such as Kanas, Nalati, Ili, and all the scenery on the road, as well as southern Xinjiang. I feel that the charm of Xinjiang will never be smaller than Tibet. I hope more people will discover it. The charm of Xinjiang.
If you have a baby who is still on vacation, please act quickly. Don’t be like the editor, who has to work, work, work overtime, and work overtime every day! When I want to travel the most, I just read other people’s travel diaries.
