What type of SLR do professional photographers usually use?

There are many kinds of professional photographers.

Sports photographers and wildlife photographers use top SLR cameras such as Canon 1D, Nikon D3 and D4.

The SLR used by photographers in studios and studios, 6D is enough, and Canon has more. If you really want to go to this industry, there will be more machines. 6D is appropriate, 5D2 is old.
