Wuhan second-hand train stops!

? Hankou Railway Station, built in 1903, is the only well-preserved old railway station in China with a history of 100 years. It is the first large-scale long-distance quasi-gauge railway station in China, and its main building, the waiting hall, is an important historical witness of China's modern railway construction and a national key cultural relics protection unit. At the intersection of Jinghan Avenue and Station Road in Hankou, there is a western-style building, which is the old railway station in Hankou-Dazhimen Station. It has been more than one hundred years since 1903 was built. It is said that this railway station was once the most modern and spectacular railway station in Asia, and it is also one of the few existing early railway station buildings in China. It is reported that this building was designed by the French, and it embodies a typical European style in architectural modeling. Therefore, it once became a landmark building with distinctive characteristics on the Beijing-Han Railway.

Laohankou Railway Station, also known as Lu Han Railway Station, Dazhimen Railway Station and Han Jing Railway Station. , designed and built for the French, has high ornamental value and historical relics value. It is the most distinctive and representative landmark building of Han Jing Railway, and it is a rare excellent historical building in Wuhan and even the whole country. It used to be the most modern and spectacular railway station in Asia, and it was second to none in Asia.

The railway station adopts a mixed structure, with a waiting hall in the middle and supporting halls and auxiliary rooms on both sides. The waiting hall is square, with bell towers at four corners, supported by four arch columns inside, and a dome at the top of the hall, which is simple in shape and cheerful in space. The base is made of granite, which is in sharp contrast with the white wall and large glass window on the upper part. The bell tower of the building is a tower fort about 20 meters high, and the top of the tower is cast of iron, which is streamlined and spindle-shaped. Lines and geometric figures are carved on the walls, windows and cornices of the building, which makes the whole building gorgeous and vivid and has high artistic effect. Even today, it seems to have certain ornamental value and historical and cultural value. 199 1 year, with the completion of Hankou new railway station, this old railway station was gloriously "retired". Due to long-term idleness, the bustling old railway station is now deserted.

Since the new railway station was built in 199 1 and the old railway station was "retired", this excellent historical building was once used as an entertainment city and a furniture city. With the concern and appeal from all walks of life, Hankou Railway Station was established as a cultural relic protection unit by Hubei Province and the State Council City respectively. The Municipal Bureau of Culture, CPPCC and the Provincial Academy of Social Sciences successively put forward some countermeasures, such as building it into a museum. At present, the owner of the station is Wuhan Rail Transit Co., Ltd., and the internal structure (waiting hall) of the station is under maintenance.

Hankou Railway Station is not only a "national treasure", but also a "treasure of towns and cities" among the few places of interest in Wuhan. The name of the main building of the station is Han Jing Railway Station, while the name of the State Council is Dazhimen Railway Station, commonly known as Old Hankou Railway Station. There are also different opinions about the name of the museum to be built, or "China Railway Museum", "Wuhan Traffic Museum" and "Wuhan Rail Transit Museum". Some surrounding blocks are called "Dazhi Historical and Cultural Leisure Zone", and some are called "Cultural Relics Collection Street".
