Guanyin culture in Guanyin's hometown

Xiangshan Temple is the land of Guanyin Bodhisattva. After the reform and opening up, some news media have made special reports on this. Dahe Daily reported on Xiangshan Temple for a long time, and the fame of Xiangshan Temple is growing, attracting many experts from home and abroad to visit, exchange and worship. 1976, at the invitation of Oxford University, the rubbings of "Biography of the Great Compassion Bodhisattva in Xiangshan" were exhibited in Britain. 4. Xiangshan's Biography of Great Compassion Bodhisattva has become the most influential cultural business card in Henan.

On July 2010/3, Henan Activity Week of Shanghai World Expo was grandly opened in the Expo Park. During the five-day activity week, a precious book "Biography of Guanyin Bodhisattva" from Baofeng County, Pingdingshan City was fully displayed in the program "Henan's Most Influential Cultural Card Exhibition", which became a beautiful and charming cultural card in Henan Province and was widely praised by visitors, thus being recorded in the history of the intangible cultural heritage of the World Expo.

Biography of the Great Compassion Bodhisattva in Xiangshan is a large-scale collector's edition book edited by Baofeng Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute and Fumonji in Xiangshan, published by National Cultural Relics Publishing House and prefaced by Zhao Qinglin, secretary of Pingdingshan Municipal Party Committee. The publication of this book is valuable, significant and far-reaching. It fills the blank that Cai Jing's calligraphy has not been published in China history, which strongly proves that Pingdingshan Baofeng Xiangshan Temple is the birthplace of Guanyin culture in China, and provides an irrefutable basis for establishing Daxiangshan as the source of Guanyin culture in China.
