1946, Chiang Kai-shek provoked a full-scale civil war and madly attacked the liberated areas. Mao Zedong voluntarily gave up Yan 'an and started a hard battle in northern Shaanxi. During the evacuation, many of Mao Zedong's daily necessities were forced to be discarded, and he resolutely refused to leave this bulky radio and quite a few books.

In the early days of People's Republic of China (PRC), Mao Zedong also used this radio to listen to current affairs news. With the continuous progress of science and technology, this kind of radio in the 1920s and 1930s is out of date in style and function. Mao Zedong had to agree to a new one.

As a designated hospital in Zhongnanhai, Beijing Hospital can only refuse ordinary people to seek medical treatment in order to ensure the safety of head and rest during treatment. People's opinions reached Mao Zedong's ears, and Mao Zedong criticized Beijing Hospital as a "master hospital". Mao Zedong's words greatly touched the relevant departments. After receiving the notice of Beijing Hospital's accreditation, the General Office of the Central Committee of the CPC immediately made a roster, presented one-inch bareheaded photos, and handled the Beijing Hospital Diagnosis and Treatment Certificate for all personnel in Zhongnanhai. Soon, many people in Zhongnanhai got the medical certificate with this brown hard cover.

However, the relevant departments discovered at this time that the specific handling personnel did not handle it for Mao Zedong. They immediately went to the photographer, asked for a one-inch photo of Mao Zedong, and went to Beijing Hospital to reissue a medical certificate for Mao Zedong. When the certificate was reissued, the staff did not use the name "Li Desheng" (a pseudonym used by Chairman Mao during the Liberation War) as usual, but directly wrote the word "Mao Zedong". Because the certificate is reissued, the certificate number of Mao Zedong this time is "Ji Zi Di 15 1".

Opportunity and Jim cars

In Shaoshan Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, there is a Soviet "Jim" car that Mao Zedong took in 1950s and 1960s. This car is a gift from Stalin to Mao Zedong!

Mao Zedong led a delegation to visit the Soviet Union. A train full of Shandong Chinese cabbage, radish, green onions, apples and other items is also ready to be transported to the border. Mao Zedong also personally drafted a telegram, instructing to transport Hunan embroidery, porcelain, tea, bamboo shoots, peppers and other local products from Jiangxi and Hunan to the Soviet Union. These local products filled a truck. Stalin prepared a generous gift for Mao Zedong, including a limousine produced by Stalin Automobile Factory.

Mao Zedong had been using two cars that Stalin gave him before the domestic Red Flag limousine came out. Among them, the bulletproof "Gith" stayed in Beijing, and the gray "Jim" was sent to Hunan.
