Why is Qingguo Lane the context of Changzhou City?
If the soul of Changzhou ancient city has a long history, Qingguo Lane is the carrier of this long history. If qingguo hutong is compared to a poem, then the ancient buildings dotted with it are the soul of this poem, which bring desolate and meaningful artistic conception to this deep and long hutong.
Ming and Qing Dynasties Residential Architecture Museum
Qingguo Lane, with many ancient buildings, can be said to be a museum of residential buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Most of the northern Hunan are old scholarly families, rich officials, high walls and deep courtyards, full of books and quadrangles. In the meantime, there are a lot of indoor preparations, narrow and deep, just like being caught in a gossip. In the south of the lane, most of them are ordinary houses, with small blue bricks and tiles, small bridges and flowing water, about 20 meters deep. There are docks, trackers' roads and boat stones by the river; The boat is swinging on the river, and weeping willows are floating on the shore; People who live by the water push the window to watch the waves every night and sleep on the river; Mud moss bluestone road is slippery, forming a typical Jiangnan residential district.
In the early years, Qingguo Lane was the residence of famous families in Changzhou. Changzhou is known as "Liubancheng in Qingguo Lane, a corner of Zhuang, and Tangjiaban Street", and Changzhou people are proud to live in Qingguo Lane. "Tang family" is the Tang family in Piling. As early as the Song Dynasty, Tang Huafu settled in Changzhou after being audited by imperial academy. During the Ming Dynasty, the "Tangjia Eighth Courtyard" built by Tang Jiajian was very popular. The "Eight Courtyards of the Tang Dynasty" has thus become the backbone of the ancient buildings in the alley: Bagui, Coconut Tree, Yunxing, Song Jian, Lihe, Sihe, Pumice, Hezhen and Batang, all of which can shine brilliantly in the history of ancient buildings in China. After the changes of the times, the five remaining halls of Bagui, Hezhen, Yunxing, Lihe and Song Jian have become the essence of ancient buildings in Qingguo Lane. Yamato, the white wall, the old Shikumen and the gatehouse, although mottled and broken, can still see the "Zhong Ming Shi Ding House".
Tang Yifen (No.2), a great painter in the Qing Dynasty, once lived in a painting and calligraphy hall. Although he is a big official in the imperial court, he is famous for his poems and paintings, and he is also called "Tang Dai" with Dai, a great painter of his time. His home is located in the east of Qingguo Lane, next to Chenghuang Temple (now Xinfangqiao Primary School) in Yanghu County. There are brick-carved gatehouses, front halls and back halls, which are called "Kedui Hall", and their plaques are inscribed by patriotic general Shi Kefa in the late Ming Dynasty. There are two stone tablets of Zhong Kao Ci Si written by Tang Yifen in the ancient house.
Sheng Xuanhuai's hometown has two places in Changzhou: Xianyu Lane and Qingguo Lane (Damayuan Lane). Sheng Xuanhuai's former residence, located in Qingguo Lane, is antique and has a sedan chair, a drawing room and a living room. The brick-carved gatehouse is extremely high and open, and the cornice cloister leads to a secluded path of Huangshi rockery, leaving a fragmentary and quaint beauty for today.
Tianxianglou, behind Bagui Hall in the middle section of Qingguo Lane, is the birthplace of Qu Qiubai, the early leader of China's * * * production party. Bagui Hall was originally one of the eight houses of the Tang family, where Qu Qiubai's grandfather built his house in the late Qing Dynasty. The building is a hard-mountain brick-wood structure, with corridors on both sides running through the front and back, and each entrance has a patio. There are four osmanthus trees planted in the patio of the front yard and four osmanthus trees planted in the courtyard, which is named "Baguitang" because there are eight osmanthus trees in the * * *, and the Tibetan Scripture Building in the backyard is changed to "Tianxianglou". The first door enters the house, and the concierge leads to the hall. The hall is a corridor with a brick-carved gatehouse. The guest room has a porch and a screen door. The tall wind-fire wall will separate the front and the back, and the rockery and Tianxianglou will be piled in the back patio, which is a typical building complex in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in the south of the Yangtze River.
On the west side of Qingguo Lane, it used to be the former site of Lihetang in Tang Dynasty, where Li Boyuan's former residence-Liu Yutang was stored. Li Boyuan, a talented scholar in the south of the Yangtze River, is not only good at painting and calligraphy, but also the original author of the novel officialdom in heaven. In this former residence along the Yangtze River, which faces south, he has completed a large number of works, such as Love Poems in the Kingdom of Gengzi, A Brief History of Civilization, Hell on Earth and so on. The remaining hall has the original plaque hanging on the gatehouse, sedan chair hall, hall and screen door, and the third to fourth entrances have two-story wooden structures. Boxwood carving, such as lotus flowers and peaches, is engraved on the doors and windows, porch and moon beam of the former residence. Exquisite carving, the ancient well in the clip is bottomless, and there are endless springs so far.
Walking in Qingguo Lane, you will find that the houses in Qingguo Lane are all built along the lane and beside the water, which constitutes a typical unique landscape of "street because of water", "city because of water" and "home pillow river" in Jiangnan. Quiet and deep alleys formed over thousands of years, simple and elegant stone bridges, houses with white walls and tiles scattered at random, cornices and gatehouses carved with beams and painted buildings ... are all proud cultural relics of Changzhou ancient city.
