Obviously, the director's pocket has gone beyond the material level, and it contains the warmth that everyone keeps in their hearts.

Looking at this short film, I also wonder, as a documentary director, what items will I have in my pocket? I haven't finished watching the short film, but I have the answer ―― this is a DV camera.

15 years ago, I started my documentary journey with Betacam camera. As a documentary worker from the public security team, I have to fight with the police most of the time, but the huge size and weight of the camera on my shoulder bring a lot of inconvenience to shooting. At that time, my greatest wish was to get a portable professional DV camera, which was realized four years later.

I still remember seeing that Sony DSR-PDX 10p camera 10 for the first time many years ago, and I can still feel the excitement of holding it. It should be from the moment I put this camera in my pocket. Since then, it has become my closest partner. I took it to the hot fire scene and used it to shoot the rescue and disaster relief scene in 1 10 rain. Of course, it also helped me record a lot of fierce arrests.

Time flies. When I was no longer limited to filming documentaries about public security, when I went from single-handedness to teamwork, my camera became a monitor, and the team I led began to use big cameras again. From Betacam to DVW to HDCAM, the quality of cameras is constantly improving, but no camera can be put in my pocket like 10P.

I just had an early interview. It rains almost every day, and it is very humid and sultry. And the training hall has no air conditioning, like a big steamer. "We are shooting amateur basketball, not the NBA. If you want to make the picture awkward, it is best to follow it in the competition venue, and the lens must be light. "

"If it's just these needs, it's all solved with an HDV. But you need to add a wide-angle lens to capture the dynamics of the game and portray the expressions of the characters very delicately. At present, all HDV cameras cannot replace the lens. " Lao Li has been a photographer for more than 20 years and is very good at cameras. "Not only that, but the quality we shoot must be true HD."
