I don't know why there are few poems and essays about Camellia, but I like Camellia very much.

In late autumn, the color of the earth is mostly yellow, which is so heavy and noble against the blue sky and white clouds. Camellia Mountain at this time is another kind of scenery. White camellia blossoms spread all over Shan Ye through dark green leaves, and the snow-white color makes people feel fresh and holy.

Walking into the mountains and approaching the tea trees, it is not only an interesting contrast, but also an unspeakable beauty to see the crimson camellia fruit, dark green leaves and white flowers hanging on the branches. This situation has a nice name, which is called "flowers and fruits are in the same tree", and it is also called "holding a child to get pregnant". I looked up a lot of information and found that only camellia oleifera has this situation.

Camellia oleifera needs 13 months from flowering to fruit ripening, and it blooms in the middle and late days of 1 month every year, and the flowering period lasts for more than1month until1/end of the month. Then, after frost, snow and heat, it glowed again in the crisp autumn season, showing its rich fruits and white flowers.

That day, I accompanied a reporter from the city TV station to interview the Camellia oleifera base in Wen Yuan Forestry. Rolling mountains, dark leaves, clouds and patches of white camellia are the most beautiful scenery under the lens. People picking tea fruits on the opposite mountain don't know what to talk about. We came to the hillside picking tea fruits. Most women picking tea fruits are invited by Wen Yuan Forestry Company. They talked and laughed, but their hands were not idle. Small trees and big trees were picked in just ten minutes, and soon there were baskets of tea fruits, and someone was responsible for the collection and transportation. They said they could pick hundreds of A Jin a day and pay 50 cents a catty. They earn nearly 200 yuan a day, and thousands of dollars a season!

I remember the experience of picking tea fruits. At that time, the tree was a century-old tree, and there were many weeds on the mountain. I can only pick more than 100 kilograms a day, which is very tiring. When you are tired, sit under the tree and reach for the branches, smell the flowers and suck the pollen with your tongue. It is very fragrant and sweet, and my tired body will recover from this sweet floral fragrance. The mountains are quiet. I wonder why so many bees come to collect honey from such fragrant and sweet flowers. Until now, I didn't know that there is a kind of sugar in camellia oleifera which is difficult for bees to digest. Bees will die of indigestion if they eat it. Therefore, no beekeeper dares to put bees in the Camellia oleifera forest, and there are only a few wild bees in the mountains.

Nature is really amazing. If the forest is full of bees collecting honey, who dares to pick camellia oleifera fruit? The value of Camellia oleifera fruit is much higher than honey. The quality of camellia oil is very good. It is called oriental olive oil. In the past, only rich people could eat it, but now high-income people can enjoy it.

In the warm sunshine in late autumn, in the Woods full of camellia oleifera, I smelled the flowers and harvested camellia oleifera fruit. Although very tired, but also very happy. I think if the patches of camellia oleifera forest are tidied up a little, there are no miscellaneous trees and weeds, the traffic is well done, and an observation deck is built on a relatively high hill, people in the city will definitely come to see the scenery and experience the fun of picking camellia oleifera. If there is such a place, I will be a frequent visitor.
