China * * * *'s outstanding party member, tried and tested loyal communist fighter, outstanding cinematographer, outstanding organizer of culture and art, honorary member of the 6th-8th China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, 3rd chairman and 4th vice chairman of China Photographers Association, 5th, 6th and 7th consultant, and China photographer Xu died in Beijing at 23: 03 on June 27th, 2009.

After the death of Comrade Xu, Comrade Li Changchun sent someone to brave the heavy snow to bring a wreath. Li Yuanchao, Sun and other leading comrades of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Hu Zhenmin expressed their condolences in different forms and expressed their condolences to their families.

On June 29th, 2009, entrusted by Member the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Secretary of the Central Secretariat and Minister Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, Vice Minister Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Zhai, accompanied by Li Qianguang, member of the Presidium of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Secretary-General and Vice Chairman of the China Photographers Association, went to Xu's home to convey his deep condolences on Xu's death and cordial condolences to his family. Zhai said that when talking about his personality and works, he said that he had made outstanding contributions to photography. When Zhai visited Mrs. Xu and famous female photographers, she praised them as "the precious wealth of the Party".

On June 28th, 2009, entrusted by Hu Zhenmin, Party Secretary and Vice Chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Liao Ben, member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Secretariat of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, accompanied by Li Qianguanghe, member of the Party Committee and Deputy Secretary General of the China Photographers Association, made a special trip to Xu's home to express condolences and visit his family. Liao Ben and Xu's family sat together cordially and recalled Xu's long-term support for the work of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. He said that Xu He has made contributions to China's photography all his life and is an example for the younger generation to learn. Future generations should do better.

Responsible comrades of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the China Photographers Association and some photographers from all over the country also expressed their deep condolences for Xu's death in different forms.
