Types and principles of energy-saving lamps

The official name of energy-saving lamp is rare earth tricolor compact fluorescent lamp, which was born in Philips Company of the Netherlands in 1970s. On the premise of achieving the same light output, this light source only needs to consume the power consumption of ordinary incandescent lamps 1/5 to 1/4, which can save a lot of lighting electricity and expenses, so it is called energy-saving lamp. The energy-saving products we are talking about now are mainly aimed at incandescent lamps.

principle of operation

When the lamp is connected to the circuit, the current flows through the filament, and the thermal effect of the current makes the incandescent lamp emit continuous visible light and infrared light. This phenomenon can be detected when the filament temperature rises to 700K K, because the filament temperature is very high when working, most of the energy is wasted in the form of infrared radiation. Because the filament temperature is very high and evaporates quickly, the service life is greatly shortened, about 1000 hour.

kind

Energy-saving lamps have bayonet type and screw type; High frequency and low frequency; White light and yellow light, etc.
