Digital photography? My movies always have shadows on both sides.

1. What lamp do you use? General lighting? Or a studio flash?

To take a good ID photo, make sure there are at least three lights, two on both sides of the front of the subject and one behind the subject, to brighten the background and wash away the shadows.

2. If it is a big flash, turn off the body flash, install a trigger on the hot shoe, and install a receiver on the main flash, so that the big flash can be triggered when shooting.

3. Attention should be paid to the "flash synchronization speed". Generally speaking, when using a flash, the shutter speed should not be higher than 250 seconds, otherwise it will not be synchronized and the photos taken will not be fully exposed.

4. Shoot with M file, adjust the output power of the flash, then use M file, and adjust the aperture and shutter until the lens exposure is appropriate. Customize white balance again. You can always shoot with this exposure combination after that.
