Summary of Director's Basic Course Training

In the past training period, I had the honor to participate in the training of directors' basic courses. Through this training, I have a deeper understanding of the director profession and improved my director skills. The following are some gains and summaries from my training:

First of all, I realized that the director is one of the core figures of the whole film production team. They are responsible for directing actors' performances, coordinating the work of various departments and making shooting plans. In practice, I deeply realized the responsibility and importance of the director.

Secondly, I learned how to communicate and guide actors effectively. In practice, I had the opportunity to cooperate with an experienced director, who taught me how to observe the actors' performances and put forward specific suggestions and guidance. I also learned how to communicate effectively with actors, so that they can better understand the role and plot.

Besides, I also learned some basic photography skills and lens language. In practice, I have the opportunity to operate the camera personally and learn how to express emotions and stories with different lens angles and actions. I also learned how to use light and color to create an atmosphere and improve the picture effect.

Finally, I also learned some experience of teamwork. In practice, I participated in a group project with other students, and we finished a short film together. In this process, I learned how to cooperate with others, work together and accomplish tasks together.

Generally speaking, through the training of this basic course for directors, I have a deeper understanding of the profession of directors and improved my directing skills. I believe this training will be of great help to my future development.
