2. Introduction of activities

The first Qingdao Cherry Blossom Festival was launched on March 22nd, 2023 in Dalao Cherry Blossom Valley, Beizhai Street, Laoshan District. The event, with the theme of "Blooming Laoshan Mountain", lasted from March 22nd to April 2nd, including the launching ceremony and the "Blooming Laoshan Mountain" market. "Flower Sea, Laoshan Sakura, you are here" photo contest; Collection and selection of short video of "Flower Sea and Laoshan Sakura"; "Flowers Out of Laoshan Mountain" Youth Cultural Creative Design Competition; Painting and award presentation at the closing ceremony of Letter from Spring Breeze on the Beauty of Painting.

In addition to the wonderful launching ceremony, two "Huahai Laoshan" market stalls were set up at the main venue and the entrance of the old village. More than 50 market stalls with their own characteristics displayed special products, traditional culture and intimate services, so that citizens and tourists could enjoy cherry blossoms and buy their favorite good things.

During the event, a series of activities such as photo contest, Hanfu Garden Party, cherry blossom singing, painting and sketching, short video collection and selection, and youth cultural and creative design contest will be launched to extend the industrial chain with cherry blossoms as the medium.

Transportation route: citizens can get off at Zhougezhuang Community Station by bus No.469, 470, 639, 646 and 650, or take the subway 1 1 line to Beizhai subway station and walk to Zhougezhuang.
