Enter Quarterly Average Sales in cell A6 to merge A6 and B6, as shown in the following figure.
Selection function
Select C6 cell, click Formula-Insert Function, set or Select Category as Statistics, select Average in the Select Function list box, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.
Set functional parameters
In the function parameter dialog box, enter "SUM(B3:D3)" in the number 1 text box and "SUM(B4:D4)" in the number 2, and click OK, as shown in the following figure.
Displays the calculation results.
You can return to the worksheet after completing the previous operation. At this time, you can see that the calculation results are displayed in the target cell, that is, the average quarterly sales volume is 76 198, as shown in the following figure.
