When the image quality is adjusted to HDR HD, the frame rate will fluctuate when running the frame rate limiting mode. Considering that this is the ultimate frame rate mode after cracking, if vivo X30 Pro is optimized for this mode, it is believed that the effect of smooth operation with high image quality and high frame rate is worth looking forward to.

In terms of battery life, vivo X30 Pro has a built-in 4350mAh battery, which is at the same level as flagship machine such as vivo NEX 3 and iQOO Pro.

16- 135mm full focal length four-camera module

As the first dual-mode 5G mobile phone of vivo, vivo X30 Pro is also the first telephoto zoom mobile phone of vivo. It is equipped with a full-focus four-camera module covering 16- 135mm, which consists of a super wide angle, a 64-megapixel main camera, a 50mm standard camera and a 5x periscope camera.

Of course, vivo X30 Pro does not simply add cameras, and users get more than just cold hardware. On the basis of the new four-camera module, 60x zoom, super moon mode, night moon mode and professional portrait mode are added to make the shooting experience more convenient. However, since there is still a period of time before the full moon, let's try the telephoto effect of vivo X30 Pro first.

We actually photographed a tall building in the distance, and we can see that the weather is fine and the light is suitable for taking pictures. The proofs are super wide angle, main shot, 2 times (50mm), 5 times (135mm), 40 times and 60 times from top to bottom.

First of all, the exposure and color performance of super wide angle, main camera and 2 times 3 cameras have performed well in consistency. At 5 times, the color temperature became a little cold because there was no blue sky background in the framing. For the control of 5 times color temperature, extra-wide and subjective references are added in the later optimization.

As can be seen from this photo, the camera equivalent to 50mm has less distortion, which is why many photographers like to use the 50mm lens as the hanging head.

After five times, we can begin to read the words on the elevator clearly. You can notice that the13 megapixel periscope lens of vivo X30 Pro shows good details and sharpness. Especially on the track of the elevator, the composition of the steel frame structure is also relatively clear. However, the five times of vivo X30 Pro is not only as simple as shooting, but I will share more gameplay with you later.

At 30-40 times, the far-sighted stability of vivo X30 Pro is not bad, so this gear is usually recommended.

At 60 times, although the image quality has declined, we can shoot things that the main camera with large pixels or the zoom lens with low magnification can't. For example, the number on the elevator, the protective net used on the glass window and so on. You can't say how clear you can shoot at 60 times, but the super telephoto first solves the problem of whether you can shoot.

It can be seen that vivo X30 Pro can show enough clarity in telephoto. And more focal length choices mean that users have more room to play on various shooting themes. Previously, when periscope cameras brought telephoto shooting ability to mobile phones, manufacturers and users paid more attention to the shooting focal length that mobile phones could cover. Vivo X30 Pro made a fuss about the shooting function of each camera, which undoubtedly opened up a new idea. This is a bit like the different ways of playing the combination of long zoom lens and multi-fixed focus lens in the camera. The former emphasizes the convenience of one machine (mirror) traveling around the world, while the latter shows that the unique lens has more performances on different themes. Just like the portrait shooting in this experience, vivo X30 Pro shows that each camera has the advantages of specific optimization.

However, the first thing to note is that in fact, any mobile phone can take portrait photos, and many mobile phones also add portrait beauty mode to the main camera. However, totally different from these, vivo X30 Pro is configured for portraits separately from camera specifications and even algorithms.

In portrait mode, vivo X30 Pro will switch to the equivalent 50mm camera. This camera is based on Samsung ISOCELL GD 1 sensor, with a maximum pixel of 32 million pixels and 4in 1 technology. By default, it outputs 8 megapixel photos. Single pixel area 1.6um, aperture F2.0, did you think of the iPhone 7 Plus, and the portrait mode was also switched to 50mm, with twice the long focal length? However, the latter uses the 50mm focal length of the telephoto lens, while the vivo X30 Pro has a built-in dedicated camera for portrait mode.

Then the question is, why do Apple iPhone and vivo X30 Pro have to make a fuss about the 50mm camera? Vivo product manager once gave a basis at the press conference, that is, the distortion of 50mm focal length is smaller, and portrait photos are more in line with human vision. So how big is the difference? You can compare the girls' faces under the same headshot composition.

Of course, focal length and distortion cannot be generalized. Because of the optical principle of lens, we can summarize it as follows: the longer the focal length, the easier it is to control the distortion, and the shorter the focal length, the more difficult it is to control the distortion. Some friends will say, I just want to stay away.

Of course, there is no fixed choice of focal length and portrait shooting. But the wider the wide angle, the more elements are incorporated, and the more difficult the composition is. Generally speaking, taking pictures is subtraction, removing redundant elements and showing the subject. This is also an important foundation in portrait shooting.

In addition, because we are closer to the subject, we can better grasp the facial expressions and actions of portraits in portrait mode. However, it needs to be emphasized again that what kind of focal length is used to shoot a portrait ultimately depends on the picture effect you want. For example, personally, a 5 times periscope camera equivalent to 135mm performs better in portrait mode.

In portrait mode, background blur defaults to the effect of F2.0 aperture, and the system also provides four portrait styles. However, the effects of these four styles can't satisfy me for the time being, and considering the space problem in the later period, there is no choice of style to shoot here.

As mentioned above, the blur function is an important part of the effect of simulating shallow depth of field with a small bottom mobile phone. However, vivo X30 Pro is not without brain blur, but judges the distance between the portrait subject and the background.
