Look at the origin of Hainan
Looking at Hainan is another masterpiece carefully planned and filmed by Sanduotang Media, the top documentary production team in China, and it is also the main creative team of The Rise of Great Powers, The Power of Companies and Going to the Ocean.
For the first time, this film has realized the cross-international cooperative shooting of domestic documentaries in the air and underwater. The film crew specially hired Mr. Irmin Kerck, the top international aerial photographer, to personally photograph the beautiful natural scenery and landmark buildings of Hainan Island. As the chief aerial photographer of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and Discovery Channel, Mr. Irmin's main works include The Earth Pulses and Beautiful China. In addition, he was the chief aerial photographer for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, the 2004 Athens Olympic Games and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
In addition, in order to show the wonderful beauty of the underwater world in the waters around Hainan Island, the film crew specially invited the underwater photography team who filmed Blue Planet for BBC to perform all the underwater shooting work of this film. The most commendable thing is that after four months of careful planning and organization, the film crew finally captured the underwater image of Zengmu shoal at the southernmost tip of China.
Seeing Hainan, as a historical, cultural, tourist and scenic film and television program with the highest difficulty, the most beautiful picture and the newest and strangest content, its production and broadcast have far-reaching significance for the construction and publicity of Hainan International Tourism Island. "Looking at Hainan" is divided into two teams to go deep into various cities and counties in Hainan for shooting and framing, which lasted for more than two months, fully excavating and displaying Hainan's nature, history, culture and folk customs. For the first time, the photography team went deep into the hinterland of Wuzhishan area in central Hainan to photograph the original village of the indigenous Li nationality in Hainan Island. We recorded the handicraft production process of Li nationality's folk house-boathouse and the traditional brocade, pottery and single wood production of Li nationality with the lens.
Geographically and historically, Hainan is surrounded by the sea, which is the inheritor of marine civilization, the land of multicultural revival and the bridgehead facing the future. The six episodes of "Looking at Hainan" show China and the world that Hainan is not only a place, but also a civilized form and spiritual home through six themes: civilization orientation, geographical origin, spiritual Dojo, natural humanism, multiculturalism and civilized times. We hope this film can: change people's historical impression of Hainan, rebuild Hainan's humanities and natural traditions, and give Hainan a brand-new image interpretation. I believe that the broadcast of "Looking at Hainan" will initially build Hainan into a world-class island leisure resort, making it an open island, a green island, a civilized island and a harmonious island, which will play an important role in publicity and promotion.
