A tour of Shapotou, Ningxia 1200-word composition

The first time I learned about Shapotou was in the geography class of middle school, and I knew that Shapotou was the most successful place for sand control along the China Railway.

The first time I saw Shapotou at close range, I saw it when I went to Lanzhou to go to college by train. The car arrived at Shapotou, Zhongwei, Ningxia, and the endless desert outside the window came at me. The sand dunes on both sides of the train track are covered with huge netted grass grids, as if they were covered with two long and large spider webs, and various shrubs are growing inside. It is said that no matter how strong the wind is, the runway will not be covered by quicksand, which is really amazing.

I've heard that Shapotou has started to travel in recent years, but I don't think so. I think it's just a well-known sand control project. If I really want to travel there, what can I see?

Two weeks ago, a friend asked me to take my family on a weekend trip to Shapotou. I didn't want to go at first, but later I felt that children love to play with sand, so that they can have a good time and have a good weekend.

So our two families, a family of six, took a long-distance bus from Lanzhou to Zhongning, Ningxia, and then rented a taxi from Zhongning to Shapotou, Zhongwei.

Zhongning to Zhongwei is an expressway; From Zhongwei to Shapotou, it is a two-way eight-lane expressway, which surprised me. The taxi driver said, "You don't know, there is another expressway leading to Shapotou that is about to be completed." He said that Shapotou has a train, a new airport and convenient transportation.

Along the broad and majestic highway, we soon came to Shapotou. I'm still a little shocked by the scene here!

This is not what I saw when I passed by on the train. Many houses have been built on both sides of the small Zhongwei Railway Station. On one side of the train track are Shapotou and the Yellow River Great Bend Scenic Area. On the other side is Tengger Desert Scenic Area.

We each spent 60 yuan to buy a ticket (the tourist attractions in Ningxia are free for journalists, and I, a journalist from other provinces, can also go in with a journalist's card), and we first entered Shapotou Scenic Area. As soon as I entered the door, I saw a huge sand slope. Down the sand slope is the surging Yellow River, opposite to the rolling Helan Mountain. The Yellow River forms a big bend here. There are deserts, green trees, rivers and mountains in this big bend. The whole scenic spot is well-organized and distinguished.

One day, we played sand skiing, dune piling, desert off-road vehicles and other projects in two scenic spots, and had a good time. There are more than 10 kinds of tourism projects in the whole scenic spot, and high-altitude zip lines, river bungee jumping and other special projects have become favorite projects of many young people.

I think the tourism development in Shapotou is very successful. The first is that publicity is in place. In the taxi, the driver sent us a publicity color page of Shapotou, with the tourist items and tourist guides at a glance. From "CCTV" to "taxi", Ningxia has spent a lot of effort on tourism promotion and packaging, and the successful promotion of Hushajing District in Ningxia in recent years is an example. Secondly, the development of tourism projects has its own characteristics. Sand skiing, zip line, bungee jumping, sand sculpture, desert cross-country and other projects skillfully combine ancient natural scenery with modern leisure and entertainment, which is both atmospheric and practical. The third is that transportation and other foundations are developed. Freeways, railways and airports, especially two freeways, can come from different directions, which is convenient and verve.

Under the blue sky and white clouds, Shapotou Scenic Area is particularly charming. We are all photographers, and there are always endless scenery. Especially when the sun sets and the dunes are angular, everyone is strolling for a while. Even my friend's daughter in elementary school keeps taking pictures.

Over the years, I have been to many places for interviews, and each place has its own unique tourism resources. Compared with some major tourist provinces, Ningxia is not rich in tourism resources, but their ideas and ideas on tourism development are modern and advanced. Gansu is rich in tourism resources, with thousands of miles of ancient Silk Road and the famous Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, but many resources have not been developed reasonably and fully. The construction and development of many famous scenic spots lack scientific planning and necessary investment, and the tourism projects are too single to attract tourists. For example, Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes and Crescent Spring can focus on some tourism projects related to "desert tour", so that tourists can have more good places to relax after seeing Mogao Grottoes and Crescent Spring. Recently, you went to Guatai Mountain in Tianshui, one of the earliest birthplaces of the Chinese nation, but there was no publicity and few tourists. So far, even a ticket has been confiscated. ...

I visited Shapotou, Ningxia, Western Film and Television City and other scenic spots, which made me feel a lot. Compared with its brand-new concept of developing tourism, Gansu, which is also in the west, still has a lot to learn!
