Mountains and water in Jingxi
During the summer vacation, I boarded the bus bound for the photography summer camp in Jingxi with my yearning and joy for Jingxi.
Jingxi, which grew up under the protection of many mountains, is located in Baise City. It is located in the southwest border of Guangxi and has a subtropical monsoon climate with an average annual temperature of 19.1 degrees Celsius. There is no scorching heat in summer and no severe cold in winter, making the four seasons like spring. Therefore, it is also known as "Little Kunming". The unique peaks, karst topography, and criss-crossing network of underground river systems have formed many waterfalls here, creating such a beautiful natural ecological environment with beautiful mountains and clear waters and gurgling streams, which is not only important in tourism. It is no less beautiful than Guilin, which is famous for its beautiful scenery. It is also known as "Little Guilin". Its unique natural scenery and cultural landscape are famous, all of which fascinate me.
The stability of the mountains and the agility of the water
When I first arrived at the Shatun Waterfall shooting location, I couldn't help but be moved by the mountains and waters in front of me. Looking around, all you can see are towering but not precipitous mountains. On the peaks, there are patches of green pines and cypresses, patches of mountain flowers and green grass. The patch of green that reaches the top of the mountain is illuminated by the sun. It makes them look very calm standing there quietly, like sages who are admired by everyone. The cascading waterfalls running between two majestic mountains like a long silver-white belt attracted my attention. They are slender and fragile against the backdrop of the mountains, and it is this fragility that sets off the scenery. Out of the mountains - the perseverance of their guardians. The jubilant "swishing" sound of the water seems to be telling their guardians the joy of the journey. This situation and scene may be the best portrayal of "the mountain is light and green, and the autumn water is gurgling in the stream."
The benevolence of the mountains and the wildness of the water
On the third day of the summer camp, we went to Erlangquan Waterfall, which is surrounded by mountains, to learn photography. Because it is far away from the city, few people care about it. But we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of its elegance through the works of a local photographer. It was truly extraordinary. With this yearning, we started a long journey to find the waterfall under the guidance of local people. Along the way, we had to climb mountains and wade through muddy ground. The degree of hardship can be imagined. When I took a break and looked around, I was surprised that I missed many beautiful scenery along the way in the rush. The first thing that caught my attention was the rolling mountains here. Although they are not as big as the mountains at Shatun Waterfall. It is majestic, but it also has its own charm. The green mountains all over the mountains are baptized by the trickling stream and the sunshine, making them look particularly delicate and soft. My vision is filled with the green mountains. But the eyeballs were attracted by the cows and puppies enjoying themselves on it, and the chirping of the birds in the sky echoed through the valley, which seemed to be the reality of "the cicadas are more quiet in the forest, and the birds are singing more leisurely in the mountains". It adds a sense of vitality to the quiet hill. The tranquility in front of us made it difficult for us to imagine that such an unruly Erlangquan Falls would appear here, but in fact, we also saw it and appreciated the so-called "hiddenness". As our footsteps deepened, the sound of falling water, as loud as thousands of troops descending from the glacier, came closer and closer. Unable to restrain our inner excitement, we accelerated our pace. After crossing the ridge, the majestic Erlangquan Falls finally appeared in front of us who cheered. In front of you. The waterfall is like a pile of foam. Due to the obstruction of the rocks, the already foamy water droplets splash like flying gravel. Countless crystal water splashes dance lightly in the air. The stirred up waves splash and jump everywhere. The noise...gathered into silvery shining waves that roared straight down, with strong winds and clouds. The entire waterfall was shrouded in mist. The so-called hazy beauty was vividly reflected, and the white waves made it even more majestic. It is so beautiful that the sunlight reflects on the water mist, forming a looming rainbow across both ends of the waterfall, adding a brilliant color to the already extraordinary Erlangquan Falls. The surging water brings out the tranquility of the mountain, and the kindness of the mountain tolerates the unruly water.
Mountains are calm and honest; water is agile and unruly;
The two unrelated things complement each other under the uncanny craftsmanship of nature. The complementary characters of mountains and water create the uniqueness of southwest Guangxi. The beauty of the frontier.
