Take Sony NEX-5C as an example. The flash index of its standard external flash lamp is small, and the light emitted cannot be evenly diffused. If you want to achieve better results, you still have to "move your hands." So let's take it as an example to demonstrate how to make a soft light cover for the flash. Of course, this trick can be extended to the camera in your hand.

Materials required:

1, a pair of scissors, adhesive tape, a small sponge pad with a thickness of 5cm×3cm, and a piece of tin foil paper with a thickness of 4cm×1.5cm..

2. Soft sponge pad (thickness 2-3mm) is about the size of A4 paper, and cut into15cm×10cm 8cm×10cm each.

Sticking a small sponge pad under the flash can support the opening, and the upper piece will be more rigid, close to 90 degrees. The angle of reflection depends on the underlying sponge pad, which can increase the angle and fix the soft mask.
