No.36, North Ring Road, Zhengzhou, Henan Province. North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower (hereinafter referred to as "Huashui") is located in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. It is a characteristic backbone university in Henan Province jointly established by the Ministry of Water Resources and Henan Province and mainly managed by Henan Province. It is the leading unit of China University of BRICS Network University and a member of BRICS University Alliance. It is the first batch of master's and doctor's degree awarding units in China. The school originated from the Central People's Government and 195 1 was established in Beijing. 1954 was renamed Beijing Water Conservancy School of the Ministry of Water Resources, and 1990 moved to Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. In 2000, the whole system was placed under the management of Henan Province by the Ministry of Water Resources, and was renamed North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower on 20 13. As of June, 20021year, there are 24 teaching units, 65 undergraduate majors, 3 first-class disciplines authorized by doctoral degrees and 34 first-class disciplines authorized by master's degrees in Garden Campus (covering 55 mu) and Longzihu Campus (covering 655 mu) and Jianghuai Campus (covering 0/500 mu).
