Jin Daiqiang, a world-renowned graphic designer, was born in 1942 and settled in Hongkong 1957. 1976 joined Innovation Sicheng Design & Production Company, 1988 was reorganized into Jin Daiqiang Design Company as the creative director.

Jin has won more than 300 awards in design competitions in Hong Kong and overseas, including many excellence awards in the new york Creative Year Exhibition, excellence awards in CA communication in the United States, gold award in the Los Angeles World Art Competition, gold award in corporate image design in ancient paper, England, and the overall champion of the Hong Kong Urban Council Design Award.

Jin's works are often exhibited overseas, published in international authoritative design journals and selected as one of the world's top 100 peace designers.

Jin was the chairman of the Hong Kong Designers Association for three times. Now he is honorary consultant of Hong Kong Museum of Art, visiting professor of China Central Academy of Fine Arts, vice chairman of the board of directors of Hong Kong Artists Association, honorary ambassador of Belgian International Trademark Center and member of Hong Kong Arts Development Council. He has published Graphic Design Practice, Commercial Design Art, Poster Design, Advertising Design, Dialogue with Japanese Designers and Trademark and Institutional Image.

Jin's outstanding achievements in art and communication design, coupled with his participation and contribution in education, were selected as 1979 Top Ten Outstanding Young People, and 1992 as Outstanding Men in the 1990s.
