Where is Yangjiaoshan Sakura Garden?

The park is located in Yangjiaoshan, Kangwang Township, Yueyang Economic Development Zone. The cherry blossom garden in the park covers an area of 30 mu. In addition to Japanese Yoshino cherry, there are seven varieties: Huazhong cherry, Hunan cherry, Liling cherry, tail-leaf cherry, mountain cherry and Jinyuan cherry.

Adjacent to Kang Wang Industrial Park, 6 kilometers away from the central city, the 49-way wharf covers an area of 600 mu. It is a key forestry project approved by the municipal government, and it is also the base of many national and provincial scientific research projects, with the only secondary forest in Yueyang suburb.

The first phase of construction has been basically completed, and the park is mainly divided into four areas: management area, collection area of germplasm resources, exhibition area of rare seedlings and flowers, and forest wetland leisure area. More than 100 germplasm resources have been collected and preserved, including Davidia involucrata, Ginkgo biloba and many rare species in Dongting Lake area.

More than 1000 white Japanese-dyed wells in Sakura Avenue, Sakura Lake, hillside and highway in Yan Information Park have begun to bloom, and the flowering period is expected to last until the end of March. More than 100 tulips along Minghua Ecological Square, Sakura Lake, Dujuan Square and Expressway have all bloomed. In addition, on sunny nights during the flower show, the Botanical Garden will also light up LED lights to create the only dreamy beauty of "enjoying cherry blossoms at night" in China.

Yoshino, also known as Yoshino Sakura Sakura, Tokyo Sakura and Japan Sakura, originated in Japan. At present, 80% of the cherry blossoms planted in Japan are Yoshino, and the "front line of cherry blossoms" in Japan is also based on this variety. In addition to the large-scale opening of Yoshino Sakura in the Provincial Botanical Garden, these spirits from the "Sakura Kingdom" can be seen in many places in Hunan.
