People praise it in various languages and poems, and express it in music and drama. Without it, life seems bleak; And with it, no matter how bitter and boring life is, it seems to be colorful and full of vitality. In this world, how many people pin their happiness on it, and some even regard it as the only happiness in life. Without it, they feel that it is the biggest regret in this life.

The love described in literary works has become the pursuit mode in people's lives, and people's hearts are full of all kinds of fantasies and longings. Due to the subtle influence of literary works, people always feel that life under the ups and downs of literary works and lingering psychological waves is a meaningful life.

People are eager to live a colorful life described in the book, and they are eager to live an "extraordinary" life, thinking that such a life is not wasted.

In film and television, the rendering of sound, light and electricity, tortuous plots and dramatic scenes stir people's already impetuous hearts. These romantic plots are fascinating and I want to be in them.

People think that in the increasingly tired life, only the appearance of love will have the bright spot of life, and people are eager for this strange encounter. People think that cherishing love is a manifestation of social civilization and progress.

The public opinion of almost all literary and artistic works is promoting the greatness of love. Numerous literary and artistic works believe that love between men and women is the most beautiful and worthwhile thing in life. Influenced by it, people often hold love high to the first place and defend it for various reasons. Anyone who wants to contradict the ethos of this era will be in chaos and even be considered a diehard with ulterior motives.

Love is almost madly beautified and publicized, so that in contemporary society, love is more dispersed, and the powerful moral constraints in the past are gradually out of control, and people have greater "randomness."

Due to the exaggeration of lust and its influence, people's moral and ethical concepts have changed greatly, and people's family values have become weaker and weaker. Many people adhere to the concept of "men and women are together if they are good, but they are separated if they are bad" and want to be free in this erotic world of "racing with cows". This crazy behavior, which treats marriage, family and human relations as a child's play and life as a bird and beast, will degrade people's rationality to the level of animals and eventually lead to unspeakable tragedies.

Not to mention the anti-traditional newcomers and single aristocrats, many traditional families have also fallen apart because of the love of others, which has brought irreparable harm to the next generation.

At the same time, due to the decline of morality, modern love and marriage are mostly based on vulgar greed. The flood of lust has deepened the debauchery and corruption of life. In today's society, many people no longer regard evil as evil. They think that as long as they pursue true love, nothing matters.

Look at countless nightclubs, dance halls, rooms, saunas, pornographic books, periodicals and DVDs in the city now. How many people are living a life like a walking corpse, a flash in the pan?

How attractive and sticky will lust be in this wanton rendering and incitement environment? And this is the place where people are most easily attracted or even abandoned, and it is also the most fragile place in human nature.

In the Ming Dynasty, Wang Daqi, a scholar, asked master lianchi, "The disciples observed that the teacher prohibited killing Wen, so they held a long fast. However, lust is strong and cannot be destroyed. Asking for advice facilitates teaching and makes the viewer happy, like killing a life. 」

Master lianchi replied, "It's hard to kill, so it's easier said than done. Desire is pleasure, so it's hard to say. Today is a metaphor, obviously putting poison in spoiled food is a terrible killing; It is a terrible thing to kill people by secretly putting poison in food. The wise man thought about it. 」

What's more, in some countries, homosexuality has even reached the level of legalization. The slogan of people is how to be happy, how to indulge and how to abandon all moral rules. This is really a chaotic era!

It is no accident that homosexuals get AIDS. It is a kind of karma in itself, and this kind of indulgence and reversal of human relations will naturally lead to a painful dead end.

It is the sorrow of human beings in this era that there is no law of causality. Can love really give people real and eternal happiness as people think? In fact, from the initial courtship, the middle combination, until the final separation, people only tasted the bitter fruit of love.

First of all, in the courtship stage, it is difficult to win the favor of women without paying a heavy price. Needless to say, ordinary people, even emperors and princes, are the same. Such examples can be cited at any time and in any country.

Far from it, contemporary American President Bill Clinton is a typical example. The president of a superpower had to review his mistakes in front of people all over the world for a woman, so that he was ruined and humiliated. I'm afraid it was unexpected when he indulged in lust. In order to satisfy women's desires in all aspects, create all kinds of bad karma and work hard, there will be three evils in the afterlife.

Moreover, women's mentality is changeable, rain or shine is uncertain, and people who are bound by lust are always tortured. In the pursuit of lust, people are actually satisfying their own desire for possession and control, and think that the other person is "mine". At this time, the other party becomes my house, my home appliances and my car.

This is just a kind of self-restraint, in fact, it is impossible to occupy each other all the time anyway. People have a strong self-centered selfishness in the pursuit of lust. People often want each other to do what they want and listen to themselves. If they don't agree with their wishes, they will have troubles. However, everyone has his own personality and ideas. How can one person dominate another?

The second is the pain after the combination. Young people who are inexperienced and full of illusions always regard love as beautiful as flowers and fantasize about forming a family full of fun. However, once you step into the circle of marriage, you will find that family life is nothing more than daily necessities and busy with all kinds of trivial chores.

People at this time, like horses with spurs, began to bear a heavy burden of survival, especially the monotonous and repetitive life, which made people deeply disappointed. Flowers are really dazzling when they are in full bloom, but they will inevitably wither in the end. Similarly, people's beautiful fantasies will be shattered by cruel reality as time goes by.

At this time, people often say that "marriage is the grave of love". This is actually the inevitable pain for people to enter real life from illusory imagination. Just because the beautiful fantasy in people's minds is just an irrational idea, it can't last long and will eventually burst like a soap bubble. Everything will be boring and return to the pain and troubles of the original life.

Although modern people are unwilling to face up to it, and the pain of life will not change and disappear because of people's illusory vision, why do people prefer futile fantasy to respect reality?

The only way to get real happiness is to take the road of liberation. People don't realize that lust is the root of pain, but they want to replace the pain of life with the pleasure of pursuing love. This is an unrealistic idea.

People's hearts are as fickle as autumn clouds, especially in impetuous modern society.

Men lust after women and start a family. Once it lasts for a long time, the previous freshness and goodwill disappear with time, and life begins to become boring. Even if two people live together, there is nothing to talk about. It is unnecessary to look at each other.

So a man chases another woman to find a new one, or a woman goes to find another man. The popular extramarital affairs in today's era are basically like this. In fact, this is all caused by people's idea of separation. The same two people have such a big difference in mentality before and after. If the essence of love really exists, why do they have such a big difference in understanding and attitude towards a person?

If we carefully observe the inner emotional world of contemporary people, we will find that the unpredictable idea of separation is particularly obvious and strong. People are wanton, arbitrarily combined and unrestrained. People think that indulgence is freedom, and this freedom is the happiness of life.

It seems like an absurd opinion and crazy behavior only because one's own reason is bound by unreasonable intentions and cannot extricate oneself from the illusory world. This view of freedom stubbornly believes that there is the opposite sex outside that can really make him happy, but it actually brings only unspeakable bitter fruits in this life and the afterlife, really deep troubles and karma, and finally the pain of separation.

The world longs for kindness, love and inseparable life, not only to be together in this life, but also to be inseparable from birth to death. The so-called "I would like to be a lovebird in heaven, grow together on the earth, two branches of a tree ..." However, even if we live together in this life, we only meet temporarily because of karma. Once the karma is exhausted, you must go with the flow.

Being husband and wife in this life may become strangers or even enemies in the next life. The so-called "husband and wife are birds in the same forest, and they fly separately when disaster strikes." "The so-called' people have emotions' is inherently uncertain. Is this what ordinary people who are troubled by lust can do?

India's venerable Padamba once said: "Husband and wife are impermanent, just like market visitors. Therefore, the gathering and dispersion of this world should be viewed with a resigned attitude.

Is everyone obsessed with pleasure the greatest happiness in life? Actually, it's not. In the eyes of practitioners who practice unclean ideas, people's desires are regarded as dung heaps, fire pits and poisonous snakes, and they are avoided, while those who are freed from the bondage of love regard them as empty flowers and unattainable.

This is because they observe and see the true colors of things at their own levels, thus staying away from the unreasonable intentions of ordinary people. If we follow the teachings of Buddha and Bodhisattva to observe meditation, we can also turn hot troubles into coolness and let the fire of lust go out immediately.

The following is a good reflection on the impermanence of life, impure present and unreal nature, so as to break the root of lust and trouble-unreasonable thinking.

First of all, for the opposite sex, our eyes should not only stay at the brief glorious moment in her life, but also observe her life trend. For example, observe her origin-from her parents through bloody sexual intercourse, and from a filthy place, from a child who is confused and ignorant of the world.

As an ordinary person, she may not have much virtue except enjoying life. In those years when she was beautiful and young, people were most willing to pay attention to her, but after that, she would go downhill and slowly withdraw from people's sight with the decline of her appearance.

If she gets married and has children, she will be busy with housework, and the troubles faced by the public in daily life will be no exception. Trouble will follow, and the pressure of life will make her mediocre, and her body will become more and more bloated and dull. When she gets old, she will wither like burnt wood. At this time, illness and energy failure will cover her, and she will feel that she can't do anything. Once caught by the demon of death, she will never escape and die helplessly.

Park it at home for a few days, then put it in the steel furnace of the crematorium, and it will disappear immediately and become a pile of ashes. I can't even find the shadow of my previous figure. Is this once beautiful and charming beauty no different from the dream bubble?

Remembering the pain and hardships of a woman's life will produce compassion. Think about how terrible it would be if this charming and beautiful body died. The color will gradually turn into bruises, the body will swell and rot, and pieces will become pus. Then the maggots will crawl out of the rotten blood and turn into a pile of bones after a long time. After years of weathering, everything will vanish.

No matter how wonderful her life was, the final outcome was the same. Therefore, our eyes can't just stay in the gorgeous moment before the present, we should lengthen the time, visualize the whole process of a person's life, and link the whole process to observe and think, and then the fiery desire will become dull.

Therefore, we should not be deceived by the stupid whitewash in the world, and we will never see the true face with the whitewash in the world. We should not avoid it, but face the reality.

Let's look at the nature of the greedy image again. For example, the toilets in star-rated hotels are brightly lit, sprinkled with high-grade perfume, full of fragrance, filled with all kinds of flowers and served by waiters. However, no amount of embellishment can change their essence of hiding evil and doing good.

Similarly, no matter what accessories, cosmetics and perfume a woman uses to dress herself up, no matter how beautifully she dresses up, she can't change the essence of being a portable toilet.

The body is still wrapped in filthy pus, blood and feces, not to mention its endless greed and ignorance. What is there to be greedy for inside and outside? Common sense about the human body tells us that the object of lust is the accumulation of thirty-six impurities.

Thirty-six kinds of impurities are: hair, claws, teeth, thin skin, thick skin, tendons, meat, bone marrow, spleen, kidney, heart, liver, lung, small intestine, large intestine, stomach, cells, feces, urine, dirt, sweat, runny nose, tears, saliva, pus, blood, yellow and white. The so-called wonderful body comes from this, and 36 kinds of impurities are piled up into movable bodies.

Besides, nothing else can be called the body. Let me briefly talk about the teaching of the concept of impurities (see "Observing and purifying the mind in turn to guide and repair the wrong street lamp" for details). First of all, we can clearly observe all beings, and cut off the epidermis from the right eye with Manjusri Zhijian. With the tearing of the epidermis, blood gushed out, dyed the face and body red, leaving a bloody figure after peeling off the skin, and then cutting off the flesh from top to bottom, gradually revealing the neck bone, clavicle, sternum, arm bone, hip bone, leg bone and foot bone. At this time,

Through this clear visualization, we can clearly know that the human body is really a pile of unclean things. In addition, people's nine orifices are unclean, so this body is used after death, and now it is a movable toilet.

In order to know this, how can you have a hug and a close heart? How can it be inseparable and lingering? However, it is such a pile of unclean things that, after being treated separately, have become objects to be desired.

And deep, meticulous and comprehensive observation can make us see its true colors clearly. If we look further, these 36 kinds of impurities, each of which belongs to five categories, can be analyzed into dust and finally empty, then after analysis and observation, we can get a fact that no one can deny that the human body is just like empty flowers and water.

However, people regard this bubble-like body as a wonderful body and think that getting along with this "wonderful" body is the happiness of life.

People take irrational actions repeatedly and violently, adding fuel to the fire without restraint, so the persistent desire will be as fierce as the fire in the forest will burn the whole forest when it encounters strong wind, and people will fall into confusion. Some people will have a mental breakdown because of lovelorn love, and some people will even be desperate to create evil by violence.

People cling to this layer and refuse to relax. In later life, people who are blind and have no eyes will be infatuated with each other.

Finally, look at lust from the perspective of life and death. The desire for happiness is like poison in food. The first bite makes people happy and eager. However, this greed will bind people to death in six ways. Just because of lingering, it will be like a silkworm spinning silk, a little bound by itself. It is because of joy that it is extremely difficult to wake up, and I am most addicted to it.

Throughout the ages, saints are reluctant to wake up after a long call. There is no second one in the world who is more addicted than this, and it is hard to see the second one is uglier than this. Emperors and generals, bachelor's talents, heroes and heroes, suitable for all ages, are rare at this level.

And this kind of lingering is extremely deep and fine, and it is full of troubles. I make mistakes repeatedly here, but I am tied up and difficult to wake up. Fine people and even a thought, such as gossamer, are endless and difficult to eradicate. Although it is pleasant, there is nothing more wrong and nothing more painful. The ancients said, "love is not important, so you can't enter a concubine." 」

The Shurangama Sutra says: "The six sentient beings in the world will not live and die together if their hearts are not satisfied. If you practice samadhi, you will not get rid of your heart and dust. Because of the heavy bondage of love, we can't get rid of it in the long life and death. Without Manjusri's wisdom sword, how can we get rid of this still connected infatuation?
