A Review of The Dreamer

This film tells the story of a middle-aged man who often daydreams. He encounters a series of setbacks and difficulties in the pursuit of love, career and dreams, and then grows up and returns to his inner self.

Every daydream of the protagonist is to fantasize about becoming a hero who dares to take risks, and constantly stage a beautiful and romantic plot in his mind to save the beauty or save all beings. It can be seen that this man has a very strong desire for such a self-image, but he has never tried to live him. However, due to the company's structural adjustment and leadership changes, as well as the pressure of living expenses, he had to make some attempts to change the current predicament. Of course, a large part of the reason also came from his love for what he did. It is precisely because of this love that he showed his professionalism and sense of responsibility in the professional field. It is precisely because of this professionalism and sense of responsibility that he was attracted by the photographer "Shang En" who also loved his career with professionalism, and he had a series of seemingly ironic but touching stories. I think the whole movie brought me the following feelings:

First, daydreaming also has its positive significance. We usually regard daydreamers as mental derangements and think that they are abnormal, but daydreams are actually very similar to dreams, except that the former may be more unrealistic in form, while the latter is based on the real world. But both have the same inner core: hope and courage. People who have dreams will have hope and courage, and with hope and courage, they will have the possibility of realizing their dreams. As Stephen Chow said in the movie shaolin soccer: What's the difference between a man and a salted fish if they don't have dreams? People who love daydreaming always have hope in their hearts and have the courage to feel and appreciate beauty. Just like the hero in the film, in the end, he really lived his inner courage, dared to pursue and dare to take risks.

Second, anyone and anything that comes into our life is meaningful, and it can be said that it is all to help us grow. Although he has a new boss, he is still difficult to deal with himself, although he lost a very important negative and it is still difficult to find it. At first, the hero tried to find the lost film in order to keep his job (and partly to win the heroine's heart, haha), but the gains in the process of finding it far exceeded the significance of keeping his job. Of course, although I experienced many adventures in the early stage, I still haven't found it. Not only did he not find the negative film, but he also saw the scene of the heroine and her ex-husband together again, so he left sadly. When I saw the scene where he put down his skateboard and left silently, I thought of the way of expressing fear mentioned by Teacher Zhou Fan in the first class, which was called "early isolation". He gave up the chance to know the truth because he was afraid of being rejected by the heroine in person.

After thousands of difficulties and dangers, the illusion of love was shattered, and the photo was still not found. But when he got home, he had a glimmer of hope and had an adventure before. This time, this decision is quite firm and brave. So even if he later knew that he was going to be fired, he could accept it and express his dissatisfaction with the boss. Although it was for work at first, it was lost after hard work, but all his efforts made him make a considerable breakthrough. He could really express his inner thoughts to the heroine, and finally he gained love.

Third, what is real appreciation? When the hero threw the wallet Sean gave him into the trash can, I judged him and felt that he didn't cherish the gift from this great photographer at all. I didn't expect that the protagonist in the film was told by Shane himself that "the negative is in that wallet." This result is really ironic, a bit like the short story "Maggie's Gift" haha. The picture at that time was also very meaningful. When Shane knew that his wallet had been thrown, he said sadly, this is so sad! Shane is a real, lovely and brave person (he thinks it will be more emotional to hide the most precious film in that wallet, and I smiled when I saw this, and I think this old man is so cute, haha), and it is precisely because of this that he can constantly challenge the limits to shoot at will and enjoy life to the fullest. He really reached a state of "doing whatever he wants without overstepping the bounds".

? The hero asked him when he would shoot the snow leopard by pressing the shutter. Shane's answer was: Sometimes not, if it is my personal favorite moment. I don't like cameras They distract me. I just want to immerse myself in that moment, yes, enjoy that moment and enjoy the present.

? Seeing this dialogue scene, I have an impulse to cry. Shane really became a "god", and I really appreciate his living condition: he dares to challenge the limits, lives in the present, and everything follows his heart, just like a child.

? In contrast, the hero seems to admire Shane's works very much, but it seems that he only stays in the "works", so that he doesn't really feel and appreciate this living person in the whole process of following Shane's footsteps. Of course, after he listened to Shane's touching answer, I think his inner self has also changed a lot.

Fourth, about trust. The hero was arrested and imprisoned in Los Angeles for illegally carrying drugs, and he needed a local to bail him out. He thought of the staff of the social networking site who had been contacting him by phone to supplement the information, a person he had never met and had never created economic value for each other. The day before, he told the other party that he was unemployed and could not even pay the annual platform fee. As a result, that person came because of this phone call. I am still very moved to see this. Of course, in addition to trusting him, there is also curiosity, curiosity about a series of incredible adventures he described. This is both the power of trust and the power of adventure.

Finally, I especially like the idea of Life magazine, and the appendix is here as my motto:

To see the world, dangerous things? After looking at the wall, close the distance,

Find each other and feel that this is the purpose of life.
