Optimistic photo appreciation

We all want to take high-quality photos, but what kind of photos are good and what kind of photos are unqualified. In fact, after taking photos, we don't have a clear definition in our hearts. So, today, I will tell you about a good photographic work.

1. Image clarity

The clarity of a photo is the minimum standard. In photography, sharpness can adjust local contrast. The sharpness is centered on the outline part, and the contrast is adjusted. Because the sharpness acts on the highlight edge of the outline part, the details are more prominent. The details become clear, just like the feeling of suddenly getting better eyesight. Clarity in photographic works can better emphasize the edges.

Step 2: Atmosphere

The atmosphere in the picture is largely expressed by color and environment. Whether taking portrait photography or landscape photography, we will use color and surrounding environment to create the atmosphere we want. In the humanistic documentary works in the picture below, the optimism and positivity of the old people in the picture are highlighted by using the dilapidated environment and the smiles of the characters.

3 correct exposure

Exposure, in short, exposure in photography refers to the process of exposing photosensitive materials to light. Proper exposure should avoid overexposure of highlights and less noise in the dark. Of course, when we take pictures, we should follow the principle of "better owe than explode". Why do you say that? When we shoot, we usually shoot in raw format, which can well preserve the details in the dark part of the picture, but the details in the bright part are very easy to lose. However, it is better to shoot well in the early stage than to adjust so much in the later stage.

4. Light and shadow control

The function of light and shadow is to add a sense of hierarchy to the picture, and create a patchwork picture through the change of light and shade in the picture. This is why we say that photography is the art of light and shadow. So how can we record the light and shadow, in order to show a clear light and shadow?

When shooting, we use natural light or artificial light to investigate the process of the subject being illuminated. When shooting light and shadow in the environment, it can well show the level of the picture.

5. Visual impact

We often hear the word "visual impact", so what kind of photos can be called photos with visual impact? First, let's look at the color. Some of our common photos with strong visual impact must have obvious conflicts in color contrast, such as the collision of cold and warm colors. Secondly, the contrast between light and shade in the photo shows the visual appeal of the picture through the shaping of light and shadow. Where there is contrast, there is conflict. This sentence is very suitable for our shooting.

Write a composition

Composition, also known as framing composition, is also the core of judging the quality of a photo. The quality of composition directly affects the quality of the film. In the existing pictures, we just use composition to express the theme and highlight our shooting ideas. In some common composition methods, we attract the audience's attention through different composition points, and use the elements of the picture to make the audience's attention find the picture we want them to see step by step with our setting.

Summary:

A good photographic work needs us to think and refine the scenery in the picture in order to shoot successfully. Photography is subtraction, not just an expression. We think our technology can be improved, and we can't do it overnight. In addition to the improvement of technology, we should also carefully polish our thinking about photography.
