Why is 666 not good?
Hexachlorocyclohexane is the addition product of benzene and chlorine under ultraviolet light, and its molecular formula is C6Cl6H6, commonly known as 66 powder. Its chemical structure determines its high stability, so residual pollution is inevitable and has been banned. Main uses-used as pesticides.
Organochlorine pesticides (DDT, 666) are widely used in the world, causing environmental pollution and entering the human body through the food chain. Our government banned the use of these two pesticides from 1983, but because of their long half-life, difficult decomposition and strong lipophilicity, they accumulated in human fat for a long time. In the early 1980s, experts predicted that China would stop using organochlorine pesticides (DDT, 666).
