I have finished my visa. What should I do when I enter Thailand?

The visa has been completed and you can enter Thailand directly through customs inspection.

Matters needing attention in customs inspection when entering Thailand:

1. Passengers do not need to declare the following items, but they can use the green channel of the airport customs: a reasonable number of personal items, with a total price not exceeding 20,000 baht (excluding restricted or forbidden items), 200 cigarettes (one) or 250g of tobacco (or cigars), or the total amount of cigarettes and cigars not exceeding 250g; Do not exceed 1 liter of sweet wine or spirits.

Group travelers should buy duty-free tobacco and alcohol separately and carry them alone. Don't put many people's cigarettes and alcohol in one person's luggage, and don't leave it to one person as soon as you go through customs. According to Thai law, this kind of behavior is illegal. If a person carries too much alcohol and tobacco, he will be punished by confiscation, heavy punishment and even imprisonment.

2. If you carry the following items, you need to truthfully declare to the customs and take the red channel: the number of articles for your own use is unreasonable, and you carry articles with a total value of more than 20,000 baht or articles used for business and trade; Buddha statues, cultural relics, religious artworks, plants, living animals, pets, animal products, weapons, munitions, etc. It is an article that should obtain an export license from the Thai authorities before leaving the country.

Articles that need to be declared but not declared will be fined four times the total value of the articles and the tax payable, or imprisoned for less than 10 years, or both, and undeclared articles will be confiscated.

Take the most common tobacco and alcohol fines as an example. The usual practice of Thai Customs is to add ad valorem tax (1 40% for the part where the sales price of a pack exceeds 100 baht) and specific tax (1 pack of cigarettes is about 1 baht) according to the sales price of each pack. According to the sales price of various wines, alcoholic commodities are subject to ad valorem tax and specific tax (calculated by alcohol content and number of containers). Passengers will be fined at different tax rates according to the total amount of alcohol and tobacco they carry. If you refuse to pay the fine, you will be handed over to the airport police for the record, and then the court will sentence you to fixed-term imprisonment.

3. It is strictly forbidden to bring into or out of Thailand the following items: narcotics, drugs, pornographic materials and books, counterfeit money, counterfeit and pirated goods and protected animals. Thai law stipulates that carrying or smuggling drugs can be sentenced to death. Do not carry articles or luggage for others to prevent drugs or other contraband from breaking the law.
