[Edit this paragraph] Introduction to the plot

After the grumpy and lazy Garfield made a lot of troubles, the new generation of darling on the big screen was taken over by three antique chipmunks ... The story begins with a series of difficulties faced by Dave, an ambitious but incompetent songwriter living in Los Angeles. Ian, his producer, seems to be dissatisfied with his works and his girlfriend Claire, and lacks patience, so he simply "freezes" him and doesn't treat him well. Just when Dave almost gave up all hope, he suddenly heard a brisk rhythm from the kitchen. Following the sound, he found Alvin, Theodore and Simon, three chipmunks who were stealing food in the kitchen, but they definitely had different talents.

To Dave's surprise, these cheeky chipmunks who came to his house to look for food not only spoke fluent English, but also sang, and they were quite talented in music ... They settled down in Dave's house and became new pets in this abandoned room. While eating and living well, they helped Dave compose some brand-new Christmas songs and played them to Ian.

Unfortunately, Ian, who also thinks chipmunks can sing brilliantly, also sees a way to get rich. He made the most effective packaging and publicity for three chipmunks, and then launched a worldwide tour, arranged a lot of work for them, thinking about how to enslave them to bring the greatest economic benefits to himself. In order to make the plan in his mind go smoothly, Ian successfully kicked Dave, who had been protecting chipmunks, out of the door so that he could no longer participate. So, can our lovely chipmunks survive human greed? Can David save these three companions who help him get rid of loneliness before Ian, who is money-oriented, causes permanent damage? In fact, the answer was clear long before we walked into the cinema.

[Edit this paragraph] behind-the-scenes production

A live-action animated film that will never find a way out.

People always have to be good at something in order to stand firm in their own dedicated small environment. Now it seems that director tim hill must have found it. He found that his best film field was to combine animated characters with boring real people. This time, he took a fancy to this classic animated character with a history of 49 years, but he made a work as vulgar as it was 50 years ago.

Back in 1958, the singer Ross Bhadase created three chipmunks, named Alvin, Theodore and Simon respectively, and one TV animated story after another was derived from it, which accompanied the growth of two generations ... Speaking of this, it is not difficult to find that these three animated characters, which are deeply loved by the masses, are the best selling points to welcome everyone to the cinema. Speaking of which, I can't help but make a suggestion, just a suggestion. Can these three chipmunks movies be made into pure CGI animation in the second half? No real people are messing around here? Tim hill also directed a troublesome film Garfield 2 Two Cats before, but he obviously didn't learn from the last "failure".

In fact, the biggest problem with movies is that they rely too much on real actors. It seems that the three chipmunks who can sing and dance really attract everyone's attention. As a result, Alvin and the chipmunk unfortunately fell into a strange circle of attracting children. First of all, it's not Gourmet Story, and it can't compete with Shrek 3 and Bees Story, because it seems to please only children aged 3-7, who may shout loudly in the cinema, no matter what unfair treatment their favorite chipmunks have received. It will arouse the disgust of these small audiences ... Three chipmunks, especially Theodore, look more lovely after being recolored and updated by CGI, a modern film technology. You just have an impulse to take it home. If the distributor is smart enough, he should produce more peripheral products of the film, which will certainly sell well. As for the adult audience, I can only say sorry here, because you may have seen too many similar works looking for family warmth or using the darkness of the music industry for fun before, and it is not difficult to find that each one is better than this one-Alvin and the Chipmunks is basically not innovative and creative.

Fortunately, the film is not without its merits, and the audience who pout at the film all submit to the music power it creates. Therefore, the most entertaining part of the film is the song and dance performance of the lovely chipmunks, which is full of rhythm and pleasing to the eye, especially when the music witch doctor opens, and even makes you think that these three little chipmunks have a place in our pop culture.

A live actor who has been sleepwalking.

"Alvin and Chipmunks" contains too many well-known holiday songs, and it is sung in such a novel and sharp voice that you feel more or less happy and won't feel hurt because of being amused ... Because the film is adapted from a cartoon animated TV series that was once very popular, even if it tells a brand-new story, it still has some cultural connotations. Since the previous film version of Garfield, which also had a "mass base", you can more or less predict the ending of Alvin and the Chipmunks-it's just ordinary, nothing new, and it will retreat in the movie wave as soon as possible.

In fact, the most incomprehensible thing is Jason Lee's film selection criteria. He has been in the film industry for several years, but because he can't find a way out, he has turned to the foot of the TV field. After shining brilliantly through a charity for fools, he killed a comeback and returned to the big screen ... perhaps this was a punishment for so many bad roles he had played before. If he is really smart enough to be like bill murray, he should know when to put himself on the big screen.

Jason Lee plays David Seville, a failed songwriter whose depressed life is improved after meeting three chipmunks. Because they can sing and dance, David wrote a song "Don't be late for Christmas" specially for them, which immediately caused a series of sensational reactions. Ian, David's former friend, is a selfish and greedy power figure. He promised that chipmunks would become millionaires and lured them away ... Jason Yuan Lee, whose career improved slightly, was expected to be one of the supporting points in the film, and his comedy performance style with a relatively ironic tone also became the expectation of the audience before entering the cinema. Unfortunately, however, David's character spends most of his time sleepwalking, which makes people crazy-maybe you can blame Jason Lee's performance on the opposite side of three "invisible" chipmunks that need to be synthesized later, so his performance is below standard. Even though some of the behind-the-scenes digital production teams that created Chipmunks are animators from the Ice Age, their efforts and talents make Alvin and Chipmunks much better than Garfield in the combination of real people and animation, all this can't stop the devastating consequences caused by over-emphasis on real actors.

Maybe you should be grateful at this time. Fortunately, the film is only 90 minutes long, and it is not so unbearable. Even if the story is too thin, there is no substance, even if it is supported by the cheapest joke that is not funny at all ... Such a slightly stupid work is actually completed by a creative team composed of three screenwriters, Jon Vitti, Will McRob and Chris Viscadi. It's really a bit unreasonable, even the climax is a cursory tour, which is completely unconvincing.

David cross plays the evil agent Ian in the film, and he is also a very irresponsible villain. He tried to show a fake smile from beginning to end, that's all. It seems that Cross has been looking for the evil feeling that the screenwriter obviously forgot to give him the role. As for Jason Lee, I have said a lot earlier. The only impression left by this film is that he shouted "Alvin!" By pulling his neck countless times.

I think most young comrades who don't pay much attention to early American animated dramas today will be unfamiliar with these three humble chipmunks. Indeed, as early as about half a century ago, these three little guys had jumped off the "production line" of the animation department of Fox Company in the 20th century. Moreover, with his unique "talent" in singing and dancing, he succeeded in gaining a foothold in the fierce competition of various TV programs. At that time, it was in the golden age of the rapid development of TV media, and animation, as a expressive and eclectic form, quickly broke away from the constraints of the limited projection ability of the big screen. It also got rid of the embarrassing position as a preheating screening for most conventional films, especially large-scale films, and gradually showed its talents on the small screen. Perhaps, if the Disney animated film Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck, which entered China in the early years, is replaced by Alvin and Chipmunks by Fox in the 20th century, these three lovely chipmunks are the unforgettable Hollywood animated images that have grown up with generations of China people.

Just as Alvin and Chipmunks became popular on TV, in the 20th century, Fox pursued victory, insisted on developing and perfecting the comic itself, and at the same time further expanded the career of Three Little Chipmunks into the music field: performing a classic trio with the mouths of three cute little chipmunks. Many once unknown original singers, voice actors and original music have embarked on a brilliant career path from here. Despite decades of vicissitudes, music and voice actors have changed one crop after another, but three cute little chipmunks are still young and lively. Its series of original music tapes have sold more than 34 million sets all over the world and are very popular in many countries, with more than 40 language versions. And won many awards at Grammy Awards. On the theme of the story, with the passage of time, the situation is constantly changing. Even at the turn of the century, this series of cartoons also introduced Alvin and Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein and Alvin and Chipmunks Meet Werewolf, which catered to the mainstream film and television market in the world at that time.

At present, with the rapid development of computer imaging technology and 3D animation technology, the road of traditional 2D animation has become narrower and narrower. Even Disney, the animation kingdom that once dominated the animation market for decades, has to take the road of new technology under the impact of the new favorite of animation. In today's fierce competition in the animated film market, Fox in the 20th century put these three chipmunk brothers, who are over half a century old, on the big screen after rummaging through everything. They put on fashionable hoodies and started a business of singing and dancing with human beings. The omnipotent CGI technology once again showed its talents, vividly showing the furry three chipmunks to the audience. Coupled with their traditional advantages of being good at singing and dancing, it will definitely remind people of the good memories of that year.
