Why add a frame freeze?

Frame stops are added to highlight or render the scene. Freeze-frame is the instantaneous condensation of action, showing the static beauty like sculpture, which is used to highlight or render a scene, an expression, a detail and so on. The specific production method is to select a certain frame in the shot and print it repeatedly through the printer to extend the stopped frame to the required length.

Add frame stop function

Start Premiere software, create a PR clip project, find the import command in the file menu bar, select import media material, and drag the selected material to the timeline to create a sequence. Next, we drag the timeline pointer to find the picture that needs to be frozen, and then click the right mouse button to select the Add Frame Freeze option.

After adding frame freeze, you can see that the video material of the timeline track is divided into two sections, and the video media material of the latter section becomes a static single frame picture, which can be separated. If you want to change the still picture of frame freezing, you can right-click the static material in the back part of frame freezing and select the option of performing frame freezing.
