In this comedy/love/mystery play, christopher cazenove plays the taciturn Cambridge professor Michael Trent, and margaret whitton plays the humorous new york Louisa Phillips. They depicted a divorced couple who still hosted a travel program called "Bus Tickets" together. The film was shot in Ireland, Malta and Budapest in Europe.

Part of the fun is to take them to a new place every week, a new adventure, usually involving Louisa, a troublesome magnet. Michael often has to save her, and sometimes he gets hurt (usually his head) in the process. Another part of the fun is to realize that maybe they still love each other. Based on the eccentric comedies of the 1940s, it often copied lines directly from old movies.

This program only aired in the United States for seven weeks, and was later cancelled because of low ratings, but it aired the whole episode in Europe, with a total of 13.
