Brief introduction of wet plate photography

Wet plate processing is a photographic technique with glass as the negative. This is an ancient photography technique from19th century. Clean glass is coated with solvent with collodion as the main material, then dipped in silver nitrate, taken out for photography when wet, then developed and fixed, and the negative is made into positive or negative film according to preference. Also known as wet-plate collodion.
