How to take underwater photography

Camera protection: When our camera enters water, the biggest concern is water intrusion, so a strong waterproof case is always necessary. You also need to purchase an underwater flash.

Location selection: Choose a safe and clean underwater environment and fix several safe and clean underwater photography locations.

Prioritize using a wide-angle lens or shooting with the minimum focal length of the zoom head. The aperture should be F5.6 or smaller, the sensitivity should be within 1600, and it is best to use a shutter speed of 1/250 or faster when photographing people in the water.

For metering, you can choose center-weighted metering or spot metering. You can meter the bluish water in the picture or the face of the person. Generally, you need to add 1 stop of exposure compensation. Give priority to the two shooting methods of aperture priority or shutter priority.

Photo post-processing: Due to the underwater environment and the level of the person being photographed is not a professional model or photographer, post-processing and PS beautification is a must if you want the photos to be better.
