What are the scenic spots to visit Harbin in winter? Let's go to these super classic places.
Central Street 1
You haven't been to Central Street, which means you haven't been to Harbin.
Walking on the street paved with bread bricks, accompanied by music, full of Russian customs, blond foreigners pass by from time to time, as if they were in a European town.
You must buy a McGrady popsicle here in winter. Popsicles are inside, walking on the street at MINUS 20 degrees. The colder the better.
PS: It is recommended to start playing in the afternoon. The shops on Central Street close early in winter, and most of them close around 9 o'clock. From afternoon to night, you can shoot different European customs of Central Street during the day and night.
2. Hagia Sophia
Central Street, two blocks from Sophia Square.
I don't know how many people's first impression of the ice city began with a postcard from Sophia Cathedral, which has become a symbol of the ice city.
The bell of the church rang, and the whole old church trembled and its voice echoed, which was the sweetest voice in the whole city. Flocks of pigeons are flying around the church. Tired of flying, they landed in the square in front of the church, eating bread crumbs fed by tourists.
PS: The interior of Sophia Church has been transformed into a small art gallery. You need to buy a ticket at the door to go in and visit. Friends who are not interested in history can choose to take pictures outside.
This tower is located at the end of Central Street. This is a memorial tower built to commemorate the flood fighting deeds many years ago. Now it has become a must for tourists to visit Songhua River, and it is a place to take photos and punch in.
Behind the tower is the Songhua River. After the river freezes in winter, various ice entertainment items appear one after another, such as skating, snowball fights, ice sculpture slides, sledding, ice pumping, snow pulling, snowmobiles and so on. Get ready to enjoy it.
PS: Be sure to read the announcement before going to Songhua River. Don't go if the ice isn't frozen. Safety comes first.
3. Flood control memorial tower
The railway bridge, also known as the first Songhua River Bridge of the Middle East Railway, was built in the 26th year of Guangxu, on the east side of Stalin Park not far from the flood control memorial tower.
Take a photo with the old railway bridge on the snow-covered river. Stay away from tourists and have a clean background. You are the absolute protagonist.
At sunset, the bridges and ancient railway bridges on both sides of the Yangtze River were dyed warm yellow by sunset, giving people the illusion of being in the shooting scene of the TV series of the Republic of China.
PS: There is a glass plank road in the middle of the bridge. It's interesting to see the scenery under the bridge through the glass. Narrow sidewalks on both sides are especially suitable for taking retro photos.
4. Railway bridge
Sun Island is on the other side of the flood control memorial tower. You can take a cableway overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Central Street and Songhua River in the past, or cross the river by carriage and cross the snow-covered road like the hero in a fairy tale.
In winter, Sun Island is the best place to have a snowball fight and see snow sculpture. Probably what many southerners especially want to do when they are caught in the thick snow and leave their own unique "marks".
Sun Island has a snow fair every winter, and the white snow sculpture is not inferior to the ice sculptures in the world of ice and snow.
PS: Sun Island is very big. It takes a day to go around it. It is enough to see snow sculpture and the main scenic spots. 20 degrees below zero outside the ice city is no joke. It's windy by the river, so don't stay outside for too long.
5. Sun Island
When you come to Harbin, you can't miss the world of ice and snow. Every year, ice sculpture artists from all over the world display their talents and carve works with different themes, which are basically different.
During the day, the world of ice and snow is relatively "cold", and there are pure white and light blue ice sculptures everywhere. It's like walking into Elsa's castle in Frozen. It's beautiful.
As night falls, colorful lights light up, and the "high cold" ice sculptures are endowed with individual colors, each with its own unique temperament. Compared with daytime, they are more lively and full of fireworks at lower temperatures.
PS: Many popular projects in the world of ice and snow need to be queued. Suggest to find more friends to play with. Different events can take turns to queue up, go to the cabin to avoid the cold, and be sure to wear thick clothes.
6.the world of ice and snow
Outsiders are a paradise for eating goods, and the oldest and most authentic taste of Ice City is in this ancient street. For foodies, how can they be tourists if they haven't eaten the most authentic local flavor?
Besides delicious food, it is also a favorite place for photographers. Walking on some shabby and narrow streets, there are European classical buildings everywhere, which have the unique charm of historical precipitation.
PS: In the north, the dishes are rich and affordable. One dish is more than enough for two people. Friends who go to the south can divide the amount of food in the south into two or three parts to avoid waste.
Travel tips:
It's no joke that Harbin is cold in winter, and it's basically MINUS ten or twenty degrees. Be sure to take all the cold-proof equipment before you leave. Recommended equipment
It is recommended to wear a bright coat, red is the first choice, and blue, yellow, gray and light colors are also good. Wearing a red scarf is very useful and looks good in the snow. You can't just take it, because it's warmer indoors. When you enter the room, you basically have to take off your coat. It is necessary to wear a beautiful thin coat.
