What do art candidates say when they introduce themselves?
Generally speaking, there are two kinds of self-introduction in the interview:
One kind is "tag", just one sentence: "My name is XXX", or add the test number, region, school and so on. Its function is to "self-report" during the video recording, so that the judges can identify it, which is equivalent to filling in the name and test number first in the written test. There is no skill in this introduction, so I won't talk about it here.
what I'm talking about here is another kind, that is, "lecture style". It requires candidates to make an oral introduction for one or two minutes, about two or three hundred words. Its function is to understand the basic situation of candidates and assess their image temperament and language expression ability by the way. It is much more detailed than "label" and has certain skills. Based on past experience, it is summarized as follows.
First, you should have specific materials, and don't put on a show.
Introducing yourself, as the name implies, is to introduce your basic situation, such as your name, age, family, experience, specialty, personality, etc., so that the examiner can make a detailed understanding and in-depth examination of you. However, in the actual interview, it was found that many candidates did not meet the requirements at all. They did not introduce themselves at all, but just performed "for show". There are mainly the following problems.
first, there is no specific introduction.
when introducing yourself, the most common and serious problem is that the candidates don't introduce the specific situation at all, lacking the minimum elements and basic information. Many people just say "my name is XXX" at the beginning, and then they completely digress and talk in vain, without any personal facts. In other words, if "my name is XXX" is removed, everyone can copy and apply the rest, is it still called "self-introduction"? Others don't even mention their surname, where they live, and the geometry of their age, but they talk about what they should say, such as "life", "ups and downs" and "dreams", which is completely irrelevant and flashy, and is purely a show.
please remember: self-introduction is strictly self-introduction, your report to the school, and what the school knows about you. You can win completely by materials and speak with facts. When introducing, it is best that every sentence has your own characteristics, and it should only belong to you and not to others. When introducing, it is best to have information points in every sentence, which is a fact, and you should make less comments and comments. As long as the materials are presented and "speak with facts", the judges will get the overall impression from them.
second, there is only empty lyricism.
Without specific introduction, there is only empty lyricism. As we all know, articles such as "introduction" should belong to the category of "expository articles", and without the introduction of materials, we have to rely on empty lyricism to keep up appearances. In particular, some "scholars" who are good at writing are eager to lay out materials and unilaterally pursue so-called "literary talent" and "philosophy", so they write elegant "lyric articles". Please see:
△ I am ordinary, but I don't want to pass the life in a matchbox: flying personality, youthful passion, cheerful personality, I always feel that I should spread my wings and fly!
△ Some people say that if we look at the world with a calm attitude and a cold eye, there will inevitably be melancholy beauty or melancholy beauty in the words. I said no.
△ I regard every morning with sunrise as a weekend morning. But when I found that I was going backwards, I began to indulge myself a little. I began to pack my bags and embark on a long journey of life ...
At first glance, these words are very literary and romantic, but they are all empty and have no actual content, which is quite a bit of a whiny, artificial, revealing a strong "middle school student accent" and also a kind of "show".
third, blindly imitate the "declaration of participation".
there is also a common phenomenon, that is, blindly imitating the "declaration of participation". In recent years, many places have engaged in activities such as "beauty pageant", "draft" and "challenging the host". When the contestants take the stage, there is a link of "declaration of participation". So everyone is competing to imitate, and the interview of art enrollment is inevitably affected by it. In fact, there are great differences between them, such as different majors, different purposes, different occasions, different time limits and different selection methods, which cannot be blindly copied. However, many people think that the "declaration of participation" is very fashionable, and it is still inevitable to perform "show". It is always heroic and looks arrogant, but it is actually the same. Common cliches are:
△ I am smart, I am lively, I am generous and I am confident!
△ I am me! A little me, a unique me!
△ I may not be the best, but I must be the hardest!
△ Give me a fulcrum and I will lift the earth!
△ Go your own way and let others talk!
△ My future is not a dream!
It's hard to talk about personality, but it's fashionable and vague. For example,
△ I am a person with multiple personalities, both extroverted and introverted.
△ I love talking, laughing, crying and making noise; I dare to love, hate, grieve and anger!
△ I'm as quiet as a virgin, as moving as a rabbit.
Others openly solicit votes, which is very vulgar. Such as:
△ Judges, please vote for me!
△ Please support me!
△ Judge, please give me a chance!
△ I am a swift horse, but whether a horse can take off depends on whether you are Bole or not!
Of course, it is not impossible to say these words, but if you use them too much and overuse them, they will become verbose and tacky. The "draft" competition on TV is more of an entertainment, for the audience to see, and it needs hype and "show", while the professional entrance examination is a kind of talent selection, a real competition, which needs seriousness and science, and cannot be confused and blindly transplanted.
Fourth, talk too much about your ideals.
there is also a common bias, that is, to pour out one's ideals, which is too long and takes a large proportion. After telling their names, ages and schools, many people can't wait to talk about how they love TV, how they want to be TV people, and especially how they want to be an announcer ... It's understandable to reveal their hearts, but the proportion is too large, which is not appropriate from the perspective of planning. Because time doesn't allow, everyone only has more than one minute to "introduce themselves". If you don't hurry to promote yourself, but talk about the urgency of taking the exam for this major, it is definitely a presumptuous guest usurps the host's role. In fact, you come to apply for this major, and the behavior itself has explained everything. Do you still need to confess it again and again? What's more, what the judges are most interested in is not how urgent your mood is, let alone how urgent you are, but what conditions you have to apply for. Therefore, it is not appropriate to say more about the urgency of applying for this major. One sentence is enough. Let's make time to present the facts!
In a word, the most important thing in "self-introduction" is to be accurate in positioning, not to blindly "idolize", not to put on a show, and not to publish a "declaration of participation", but to be practical.
This is a turn. Let's see if I can help you.
