Engaged in wildlife photography in his spare time, and purchased photographic equipment and vehicles at his own expense. In his spare time, he went deep into Altun Mountain, Kalamaili Mountain, Bayanxi and other nature reserves to shoot wild animals and created a large number of photographic works. Feng Gang is known as the father of wild donkeys, because he has taken a lot of photos with wild donkeys as the main characters, and he is keen to publicize and protect wild donkeys. In the process of photography creation, Feng Gang advocates respecting the shooting methods of wild animals, and opposes influencing and interfering with the normal life of wild animals in pursuit of the artistic effect of his works.
